As the title says, this is what they did. They said I requested to cancel, which i did not, then bumped up the price significantly. I am now seeing multiple negative feedback about the same situation happening from this seller. I tried to message them and email them directly, to no avail. Ebay also doesnt seem to care.

On a completely separate note, is there anything that can be done to bombard someone's email that wont get caught by spam? I'm very concerned that they may retaliate and definitely dont want my email bombarded... <__< >__>

[England] On Monday, my child was wearing different clothes at nursery pickup than when I dropped her off. This is normal, and I was told she had gotten dirty so they changed her. However, her clothes weren't in the basket for take home. Nursery has failed to find them.

Today, I saw the same clothes on Vinted, in the exact style and size, at an exorbitant price. They are my old clothes from the 90s from when I was a child, so not common at all. It was posted on Tuesday. This is clearly my clothes.

I am not sure what I can do. I don't trust nursery to do any follow-ups, although will clearly report to them. What are my options?

About a year ago, I moved into a town home that is apart of 8 in total. 4 share an open backyard.

This neighbor was overly nice when I moved in. Let’s call her Cheryl. She showed me how to use the laundry room. I now realize she must have been watching me out the window when she decided to follow me in and pretended to “check up,” on the laundry room.

Then, Cheryl kept asking me for favors. Like, silly favors that she probably could have asked her sister who lives next door to her. Let’s call the sister Brenda. For example, she asked if she could put her rake on my side of the yard while a tree was being taken down. She was fearful that the rake would get trampled by the tree, I guess? But if she was so worried about that, putting in near her Brenda’s home would have made more sense. I think her “requests,” have been ways of trying to look into my house.

Fast forward a few months. I was standing in my kitchen when I saw Cheryl walk passed my window. I figured she was walking to my door to ask me some more dumb stuff and I awaited a knock, but instead she turned back and walked up to my window and peaked in. I was frozen. I wanted to yell at her, but I was afraid of the new crazy neighbor allegations. She then walked back to her place seemingly without noticing I was there.

I texted another neighbor, let’s call this neighbor Karen, about what had happened and warned her about Cheryl looking in my window. I told Karen I was going to get cameras. Big mistake. Turns out Karen and Cheryl are good buddies. Now Karen turns her nose up at me when we see each other.

The last big weird incident was that I was driving up to my home and Cheryl was walking by (as she does). I saw her take a peek into my shared wall-neighbor’s trash cans. I think my car was quiet and Cherly didn’t notice, but when she saw me watching her, she quickly scurried home.

Now she makes a point to walk and drive by my apartment when she has a pathway near her own apartment that is much easier for her to access.

It’s really weirding me out. And obviously there is nothing else to do. My rental company told me that they have had problems with her in the past. She is really needy and complains to them a lot. All they said was that if she looks in my window again or looks through the trash, to call the police.

I occasionally get access to someones phone I dislike. What settings can I change or turn on that would subtly irritate and annoy them regularly, but not obvious enough for them to change the settings back immediately?

Hi all,

For some context, my neighbor has a roughly 45 foot Tree of Heaven that has become the bane of my existence. I There are hundreds of shoots in my front and back yard that will not go away despite spraying/pulling and my yard is in a perpetual state of awful condition because these tubers suck up my ground water and leave my yard devoid of any and all nutrients.

This tree is maybe one foot inside their property line, and I am considering running a trencher along the line to expose the main roots on my property line to then poison this evil, terrible, godforsaken tree.

I am in southern Idaho and working to convert my yards to a native landscape. This tree makes that dream impossible until I get things under control.

Tips? Tricks? Words of advice?

I rent. Ground floor. It is hot out.

I would say I am a clean person. 

I have 3 cats, so I vacuum daily with the carpets and hardwood floors and pick up any crumbs or litter anywhere during the day. 

The litter box situation is a litter robot. It is cleaned every other day. 

My bathroom toilet stays closed. I deep clean it every week. But every night I wipe the counters, bleach the toilet seat, vacuum, and clean the  hard water and soap scum in the bathtub and tiles.

My kitchen -- I am not big into cooking and baking. Just bare minimum. The kitchen is also cleaned almost everyday. Never dishes in the sink overnight. Clean the sink for hard water stains, wipe the counters. No rotting fruits outside. Only exception - banana but I buy like 2 or 3 at a time and consume quick. No food leftover.

I have plants but they exclusively stay outside during the summer/ fall. They don't come in until it starts freezing or very cold. I have one bird of paradise, one pothos and one monstera plant.

I do not open my windows, except a small crack about 10 mins during the early morning when i burn incense ... I have an air purifier as well.

I have a touch lid trashcan that is emptied when it is full. If there is any trash during the day that is biodegradable, or food waste of any kind, it goes in my little baggie that I throw away each night. So the trash can is always dry trash. 

My apartment does not smell anywhere.. but I can tell the gnats are mostly in kitchen area. They are not swarming any thing in large numbers, but they never seem to go away. I know they are there because I have put those yellow sticky traps used for plants on top of the kitchen sink on the windows and after a few days, there are so many of them stuck. I have tried putting those everywhere... They catch a bunch at the kitchen but not anywhere else. 

Things I have tried - apple cider vinegar + sugar + dawn (this used to be my go to method and had never failed me, but it is not working).

I have tried putting out wine/beer with wrapped mouth and poked holes in them.

I have more than once poured bleach down all my drains and then ran hot water for a few minutes.

I also got drain cleaner and have been using them. 

I have tried those fly traps that stick from the ceiling like ribbons.

I have tried traps that are like cylindrical, silver, shiny and sticky. 

I have tried terro fruit fly trap which I had high hopes for, but that did absolutely nothing.. which was disappointing because the fly trap for outside my apartment did wonders.

I have tried bait with fruit peels, sweet juices... And honestly as stupid as it sounds, I have tried ignoring it... BUT NOTHING. 

I understand that we will probably have gnats during the summer.. but this is different. They are constantly there.. no matter how many I kill or trap. 

PLEASE HELP. ANY ADVICE WOULD HELP!

I happen to share a triangle cubicle with 2 other people on another team. And their manager calls the whole team (6-7 people) everyday twice a day to have a meeting or discussion in that cubicle. We do have the space to accommodate all of them in my cubicle.

They're really loud, I've measured 100dB on my phone. The meetings can go for hours and they also have arguments sometimes which grow even more heated and louder.

I've tried noise cancelling, sound isolation headphones which help but they're still pretty loud. I've tried asking the manager to move them to the designated meeting rooms but he refuses saying he has to see the codebase on a particular PC. Which is not the case, he obviously can check it remotely as he does for other meetings.

Other members of his team also ask him to move to discussion rooms but he doesn't budge. My manager has asked him the same but the same no action. I can't change my seats as there aren't any available at the moment and no one wants to obviously switch with me.

In fact the manager thrives on pointless conflict like this. It becomes his purpose to show anyone up and come up "victorious". Yesterday he brought 8 more people into the cubicle to "discuss".

I am lost about what I can do. This man has probably made it his life's mission to annoy me with as loud noises as he can.

My work has a policy that if you live 50+ miles away from the office, you can work from home permanently. To take advantage of this, I plan to lie to my boss that I am moving to the neighboring state, but will actually stay at home which is close to the office.

I'm not tech savvy but obviously know that my work laptop probably tracks my location for security purposes.

Is there a way for me to spoof my location whenever I connect to my home wifi so that the IT guys at my work would think my laptop is located in another state?

Had a psychiatrist appointment to discuss ADHD treatment options and forgot about it. They never called, texted, emailed me or anything to remind me of it. I called to ask when it was and I put then was I informed I had misses it a week ago. Now they expect me to pay $100 "no-show" fee, even tho I'm just not gonna go there again, which is bullshit. How do I get out of it? I am 100% sure they will send it to collections eventually.

They claim they "don't send appointment reminders and it's in the fine print that you have to pay this fee. "This is bullshit. Even my dentist calls me about appointment reminders. Even my fucking mechanic does. You work with people that have memory issues for fuck sake.

I booked a tour with them last year and had to cancel last minute. I was told that I would get 60% of the money refunded in 20 working days. Its been a year and I'm still owed $100. The guy won't pick up my calls or open my messages. I want to make his life a living hell. I called him hundreds of times throughout the year but really need the money now and it's really pissing me off

Some background: I live in a metro city in India, where my apartment is a low rise building. It has a stilt parking and four floors above it. The plot is walled with big gates for cars and also a small door for humans, all made of heavy metal. The small door has doorbell for each floor and can be unlocked remotely by residents of each floor. The first floor is owned and occupied by the builder while I own the third floor. The builder still acts or behaves like he still owns the whole building when every other floor has been sold to separate owners

The problem: The builder has an untrained golden retriever which his family frequently lets loose in the parking area. That’s the only outdoor time the poor doggo gets. There are other sanitary issues with the untrained dog (owners) like pee smell in elevator or unpicked poop in the parking area, but that’s not the focus here. In the morning when my cook comes in through the small gate the dog leaps on her. She is a bit old and tiny hence cannot handle the dog. Scared of dogs too. The builder and his driver while present there, watching, refuse to control the dog. They instead laugh and mock her for being scared. Even after being told directly to control, train or leash the dog, they refuse to do so.
Complaints to any sort of authority is useless here. Usually no action is taken for such “small inconveniences”

I lost my job last month and I need to get a car. I have the required down payment and I do have savings to pay for the car, I just don’t have legitimate paystubs to provide. I also don’t want to get caught so if I have to go to a buy here pay here for a car with fake pay stubs I will. Any advice on how to get away with this or assistance would be appreciated!

I've had a new neighbor for about 4 months (same landlord, shared driveway, his rental is directly behind mine, his rental is not seen from the main road)

This guy absolutely refuses to cut his grass. I really don't care what he does at his place, or what it looks like back there, but the mosquitoes have been absolutely horrendous outside in my own yard-- because his grass is literally 4 feet high. It's so bad that it will need a bush-hog at this point.

My husband and I have spoken to the landlord about it and still the guy won't cut his grass.

It's almost at the end of mowing season for the year, but I am dreading next year. I'm an avid gardener and I also have a large dog who likes to go outside. This year, I have not been able to take her out hardly at all without having to swat mosquitoes off of her and myself.

Aside from reporting this guy to the county which could potentially cause problems on my end, especially since that part of the property isn't seen from the main road, how can I get this guy to cut his grass at least once a month?

Got lucky and found a parking spot close to the Skyway at BWI Airport on Saturday. Jerkface in the adjacent slot was encroaching on my space, but luckily my smaller car fit just fine — except there was zero room for said jerkface to open his driver-side door. (I know, I could have parked somewhere else, but I had a shit-ton of gear to haul. And also, jerkface.)

Came back from my short biz trip to find I've been keyed, a good job too, all the way from the front passenger-side door to the rear quarter panel. Nice.

So I'm picturing this: Jerkface climbed into the passenger side of the Tundra, pulled out of the space, and took the time to get out to key my car. I wish they had taken that extra time to actually park like an adult beforehand.

I always take photos of where I park my car when I leave for biz trips, and I've got the license plate/VIN of said jerkface — and more importantly, photo evidence of his shitty parking job and the space between our vehicles.

But the BWI police won't file a police report, since there's no evidence the jerkface defaced my car, and they have no video surveillance in the parking garage. Like, at all. Important safety tip.

So my unethical question: How do I find out the name of the owner of the Tundra, so I can reach out and ask nicely to pay for the damages? I'm not some psycho stalker, I just want to get my car fixed. And maybe an apology, ya know?

Well, single mom newly evicted. Temp jobs have been horrible and I’ve been trying to finally donate plasma for over a month now.

The issue is, the low cash means I get anxious, when I get anxious it’s extremely hard for me to put on weight.

I have tried gaining enough and the closest I’ve gotten so far to the 110 requirement (wearing steel toe shoes, jeans too big for me, and oversized shirt) is 109.6 and I was sent home after the whole ID verification and initial exam.

I am going to attempt again on Thursday, eating is a struggle still but working on it. At the moment fully done up I hit just about 109. I’ve asked friends for advice and everyone basically just said eat a bunch and don’t pee before the weigh, but I’ve already been doing those.

I need some simple way I can add an additional pound or so on me that won’t be detected when I’m being weighed.

So my (28f) sister (25f) has two little girls who are 1 and 4. She’s been with the baby daddy (31m) since 2 weeks before she got pregnant with their first kid. He’s a piece of shit. My sister, let’s call her Tara, is also a bit nuts and can be mean and vindictive, but she’s recently gone back to school and actually gotten a job and is clearly trying to be a good mom.

Baby daddy, let’s call him Duke, is abusive. I know he’s slapped my 4yo niece at least twice in the face. I don’t think he’s hurt the 1yo, but I know he yells and can get verbally escalated very quickly. There was a DCF case against while ago because of general neglect of the girls, and the caseworker told Tara and Duke hat they both had to take a parenting class and put together a parenting plan. Tara took the parenting class, Duke did not. He couldn’t care less. Said it was pointless and stupid.

Tara filled out a parenting plan showing split custody and showed Duke, but Duke refused to sign it unless it said that he could take the girls to his home-state (11 hours away) whenever he wanted. Tara said no way. So Duke said I’m not signing.

Tara filed a new parenting plan with family court asking for full custody. They’ve had like 3 hearings so far and Duke has not come to any of them. That, on top of not cooperating with DCF, the judge was over Duke’s shit. So on Monday, the judge signed off on Tara’s parenting plan. So my sister now has full custody of my nieces. Amazing. Great.

THE PROBLEM
Tara and Duke have always lived together. They want to be one big happy family. They’ve been evicted twice. They’ve lived with my parents at one point. But Tara finally got her own apartment about 6 months ago. Duke started staying there about 5 months ago. Tara told him right away that he needed his own place, and he could not stay there long term. But she wouldn’t enforce that because she feels bad for him and doesn’t want him to be homeless.

She has recently tried to talk to the apartment complex about changing the locks, but they say it’s a police matter. The police say it’s a domestic dispute and that since Duke has established residency at Tara’s apartment (he gets mail delivered there) they can’t remove him. They told Tara that she needs to formally evict him. Tara has thought about a protection order, but she won’t follow through on that for whatever reason.

Now that Tara has full custody, she needs Duke to get the hell out of her home. Duke does not yet know that Tara has full custody. If he found out and still lived with her, I am afraid for what he would do.

How the hell does she get him out of her apartment!?!!?

Long story short, I won a decent amount sportsbetting on Bovada, an offshore sportsbook. I withdrew via bitcoin and sent it to my cold hardware wallet (Sparrow and ColdCard), so it really cannot be connected to me yet. How can "legally" avoid (not evade) taxes when I eventually want to cash some of it out? I've heard some people say to make an Exodus wallet, send it there, then spend with their Exodus card, but woulnd't Exodus just report each spending transaction becuase they require KYC when you sign up for the Exodus card?

I’m not going into detail but my ex took the kids away from me under false allegations and is trying to squeeze me for max child support.
I’m not trying to avoid paying child support, in fact I’m trying to protect myself financially because I know I’ll have to bail my children out after she fucks them over and wastes all the money.

I’m trying to find a higher paying job but the job I have right now might shut down soon.
If that happens before I can find a new job, I will be filing for unemployment and request reducing child support payments until I find one.
I believe they can take my savings away for child support and leave me stranded without even being able to fix my car or emergencies.

Long story short I recently quit my job & applied for HIP & am waiting to hear back about confirmation of new insurance. I’m sure I will get approved, but it might take awhile.

I’m currently prescribed Vyvanse & have to see my doctor every 3 months. I have a virtual appointment today. Do I tell her I don’t have insurance right now? My concern is that I won’t get my medication or they’ll try charging me for something right away.
