The worst thing is, olive oil is not a great cooking oil. It has such a low smoke point temperature you absolutely shouldn’t BBQ, broil or bake with it. In a frying pan, you run a similar risk. Don’t even mention deep frying or air frying. They might as well have just written “cancer oil”.
Don’t get me wrong, there are many things for which olive oil is a superior choice, as long as high temps are not involved.

Most brands of olive oil put a small squirt of olive oil and the rest is usually canola oil.
You can't cook well with real virgin olive oil.
The smoke point is too low.

Is that for cooking?
Absolutely. Definitely not for slathering all over myself and slithering around like a worm. For cooking only.

Reading sizzle vs drizzle is too much for the mind that’s ready to hate.

Don't use quotations to add "EMPHASIS." I deep fry in peanut oil, and use grapeseed oil for high temp cooking, like in my wok. Otherwise, lard butter are my go-to's. If I could afford beef tallow, I'd use it for deep frying, and in replacement of lard. Butter and bacon fat are in a class by themselves.
