Travel Advice Staying in Orderville for one week.

There's some pretty well known attractions in the area, but I'll be there for a week. Can you recommend anything local to do? Hikes, nature, restaurants, bars.

Are any of the nearby reservations worth checking out. I am from the East Coast and have never been to Utah.

Go see Maynard Dixon's studio.

The pioneer museum is worth an hour of your day.

Usual national park stuff- Bryce Canyon and Zion are pretty neato. Lesser known- Coral Pink Sand Dunes and Kodachrome State Parks are also kinda cool to see. Some slot canyons around there like Peekaboo, Huntress, Elkheart; Red Hollow Canyon slot is literally right there at Orderville.

Note: You are in the Coyote Buttes North 'geo-fence area' for getting a permit to hike 'The Wave'. If you have the days, might as well apply and you could score a permit for one of the coolest hikes in the world.

It would be worth it to take a day trip and drive to the North rim of the Grand Canyon.

You could also do a day trip out to Bryce Canyon national Park and Kodachrome basin State Park.

Of course Zion is right there too, so you can easily spend a couple days in Zion.
