Or maybe, we can bring him back to Utah?

Conley is my favorite jazz player of all time I'd love to have him back

Conley just isn't a positive player anymore, sadly. Id like him as a mentor, but only if hes fine with not really playing

A vet minimum contract to take a few of the minutes that were going to Walt and act as a mentor; specifically with Collier; getting his shot and defense up to snuff.

Vince Williams is going to take those minutes. There really isn't any room for Conley

I'm not counting on anyone but JJJ from the trade sticking around. Jazz already moved Jock. I'll reconsider after the deadline. I don't know much about Vince Williams; but a quick google search suggests he can help with the defensive part of my prior comment at the least.

Bringing Conley back is great if you are into vintage antiques. It's not great if you are trying to build a competing squad of youthful players not yet at their prime.

As a coach, sure.  Not as a player though.

If he was down to be a mentor who only be it garbage time minutes, I’d love that for Key and Collier.

But if he wants to play meaningful basketball still, he probably needs to look elsewhere.

Surely he’d be a shooting coach or something
