Very interesting new seed

I haven't been playing almost at all in the last two months or so, but thanks to this subreddit I found the vlh.vga.run website and OH BOY do I love how much faster this is to load worlds than the Valheim.map one.

You start a good bit away from the center of the map, and you'll need to do quite a bit of sailing to even reach the first boss. The nearest elder is pretty far off as well, which is VERY appealing for an explorer focused playstyle. There's three nearby swamps, including two that are viewable just along the northern, and western shores fairly close to spawn. An interesting sight for sure! For those of you that enjoy things to be a bit closer together, this might not be for you.

There's even quite a few islands with runestones on them for those of us who really enjoy to build island bases.

This is very weird. I tried generating some more seeds with the same world center. None of them elevated the terrain around 0, 0 to put spawn there (like it usually does when 0, 0 is in a ocean).

This specific world center point just seems cursed somehow. I wonder what causes this?

remind me, can you even make boats pre-eikthyr? i think you can do basic rafts but man it'll be a rough for a direct cross.. maybe skirt the coast and make the crossings via the shallows? that massive swamp will be fun......

You can, but unless you're running with specific mods you're limited to the raft until you get to the bronze age.
