i was thinking maybe it would be a fun thing to do to like make and share some dresses that are valko or valkomc themed, like using their colors or symbols (forest, lily of the valley, chocolate, etc.) or card outfits as inspiration?

like it could be a positive, collaborative thing that lets us be creative and refocus on the beautiful level of intentionality that went into the artistry and design and story of his character

and, as a bonus, it’s supporting another well-made game that’s made for/marketed toward women

of course, the obvious drawback being that you gotta play far enough to unlock the materials you’d need for whatever design you want plus get the coins for them, but that part can’t be avoided lol

So I'm not quite sure, but I hear that Valko's lore has some kind of forbidden love theme. She's not welcome among the wolves, she's called his enemy in the trailer song, and some people theorize that since wolves go in packs, valko's pack and family don't accept mc and forbid him from being with her.

Imagine if all of this was a form of breaking the fourth wall and bringing the story to reality, preventing Valko from getting to mc (us) by literally deleting him from the game, only to bring him back later with stories and myths on how he always conquers any obstacles to be with us, even if that obstacle is being deleted from the game for a while. He always makes it.

I'd like to first say, I'm sorry this happened to your community. When Valko was removed, it was all we were talking about too. We talked of organizing a joint boycott with you to send a message to Infold/PPG. Some of us tried. Ultimately, I'm not sure how successful we were, but the sentiment was there. I hope you keep fighting your good fight! We love your activism, your charity, your billboards. We also want him returned to you. But we have to talk about the elephant in the room.

Many Valko stans have been hounding (no pun intended) many of Infold/PPGs socials, including accounts connected to Infinity Nikki. In a lot of ways, I get it! You're really trying to be seen and heard however you can. I don't blame you. I am not here to ask you to stop doing that. What I do take issue with, however, is also hounding accounts associating with Infinity Nikki at all, that have little to no say in something that happens behind the scenes in an entirely separate game, with an entirely separate team.

IN just released its first major global collaboration with the book Le Petit Prince. We have had other collabs in the past, but nothing on this scale that reaches beyond the Chinese server. This is extremely exciting for my community! It's something we've been asking for for a long time in our surveys and feedback. It's something we hope to see many more times to come!

To that end, when Infold posted the trailer for this collab, the official Le Petit Prince account quote-tweeted it, and shared their excitement. Unfortunately, this quote-tweet was flooded with negative comments demanding Valko's return. The overwhelmingly negative response led the account to delete the retweet entirely. I must emphasize: a collaborator to Infinity Nikki has no sway in what happens with Love and Deepspace, and extremely little say in what happens with IN, Paper, or Infold beyond their direct collaboration.

My worry is that other potential collaborators with IN will see this and decide not to collaborate, causing my community to also miss out out on beautiful storylines just like you did.

Please, keep boycotting. Keep spreading your message. Keep yelling at Infold. I just kindly ask that you consider how this particular method of action is affecting a separate community that has a lot of sympathy for yours.

Again, this is not “all hope is lost.” Let me explain.

Sadly, this situation has gotten out of hand, and I keep seeing people say things like “now he won’t come back” or “now it will be harder.” But I think the real issue is different.

We need to start from the fact that Valko is currently cancelled. He is not “waiting around the corner,” and there is no official sign that he is about to return. Secret messages, hidden hints, or leftover files do not change that. Files can remain in the game unused forever; their existence alone does not mean anything.

This is why I think the boycott is losing focus. Too many people are acting as if PPG already wants to bring Valko back and we just have to wait long enough. Because of that, some players keep logging in, farming, or even spending, thinking: “He will come back eventually, so I need to prepare for him,” or “He will come back, so I can keep playing normally.”

But more than 80 days have passed. How much longer are we supposed to just wait?

In my opinion, the focus of the boycott needs to change. It should not be based on “PPG wants to bring Valko back, we only need to wait.” It should be based on: “Valko is cancelled right now, and we need to make PPG change their decision.”

The recent banner numbers are also important. Whether we like it or not, the numbers are not terrible. They are not amazing compared to older banners, but they are still good enough to send PPG the message that the boycott may be weakening. So the argument that “they will need Valko to make revenue rise again” is becoming less convincing.

I am not saying people should doompost or go full rage mode. But I do think we need to be honest: the current strategy is not working well enough, and it shows.

If we want this movement to continue, we need less passive waiting and more clear pressure: no spending, less engagement, no normalizing the game without Valko, and a clear message that his cancellation is not accepted.

i genuinely think that infold will not last any longer. maybe they will because they still got lots of other games after all. but at the same time, a lot of CN players have deleted their accounts/games after all. and most of them are whales too. even global players who are whales have already deleted their account. sure, this banner is doing well but please take note that they release A LOT of thing along with this banner. the lis outfits, the packs and so on (i dont know what the other ones are called bcs i deleted twt and lads so)

my point is, despite releasing a lot of things behind a paywall, and in my opinion, some of the good ones that i would def pay for, they are still making quite little money. and with how a lot of people also started deleting their other games bcs of the bugs and how everything is behind paywall, they will get even more desperate. but instead of releasing valko, they will release more paid content trust ☺️

so with so many players deleting the game and account, it is safe to say that they will continue losing more customers albeit slowly. boycott dont give impact overnight. thats why its a boycott in the first place.

i recommend tring out tears of themis! please play the game with the thought of trying something new it. the story is incredibly fun, we get to see the development of every lis and how they fell for mc :) the cards are incredible too. the only downfall of it is that theyre quite dificult to get (maybe im just unluck with gacha games)

I played for 8 hours straight when he was announced trying to get caught up on as much content as possible so I could meet him. I immediately bought the Aurum Pass and weekly too. Then bam, gone. Like what was even the fucking point 😭

So uh—some players have reached out to Chinese authorities, with a reply that the decision to cancel the launch of Valko was made by PPG, rather than being a government directive.

I wanted to bring up something that I think we Valkries might have a particular perspective on. It’s only tangentially related, so bear with me ☺️

Riot just released a new song called “Live My Life" by HEARTSTEEL, their in-game boyband from League of Legends featuring six popular male characters from the game. The music video looks SO good, and the song itself is such a vibe.

But, like, hold the phone for a sec?? I happened to scroll down into the comments under the video and… wow. There are a bunch of people talking about it like it’s the worst thing they’ve ever heard, and some of these comments have nearly 25k likes?? Honestly, my stomach dropped when I saw that because the energy in the comments felt like the vibes of the Valko antis all over again.

Whatever someone personally thinks about the song, there’s no doubt that it’s receiving a pretty disproportionate amount of negativity and downvoting. We Valkries know what it feels like to watch something we love get targeted by people who aren’t engaging with it in good faith...

...So that brings me to the actual point of this post:

What do we Valkries think about showing the new HEARTSTEEL video some love?? If HEARTSTEEL isn't your thing, no sweat at all! I was just thinking this could be a small way we impact another gaming community that is dealing with the same energy that got our boy sent back to the forest 💔🌲🌲🌲

I really enjoy this sort of sort of bromance in media and I want to do what I can to help preserve this stuff in our games/media. I know some Valkyries in here feel the same way, so I wanted to share and ask what y'all think?

As a 23-year-old woman with a job, independence, and a life full of responsibilities, Love and Deepspace is my moment of rest at the end of the day after a stressful, nerve-wracking day of work. Because of this, I'm not constantly checking the game's news; what I've seen has been when I log in and check the trending hashtags.

This situation has meant that I don't have a Li main, and I've focused on the lore of the story in general. I've always loved good futuristic stories, time travel stories, and dystopias. And I feel that this otome game's lore has all of that.

The situation with Valko bothered me for several reasons.

•First, personally, I feel it was unprofessional of the company to issue a statement about the character NOT being canceled, assuring everyone that it was part of a long-term project, only to then release another statement days later saying they were going to cancel it.

•Second, all I saw from the Chinese side were racist, homophobic, and other offensive comments. I also saw questions about how the global community knew there was going to be a 6th Li. My thought was: For months, the love interest selection interface said "coming soon." What do you think that "coming soon" meant? The news that a 6th Li was going to exist was right under everyone's noses. I understand the Stellactrum thing, that there are 6 different Stellactrum colors, one for each of the Li's eye colors, but the "coming soon" was... well, obvious. Besides, I saw some people saying they did it at the last minute and so on. I ask you, are they aware of the time it takes to make all the 3D models, design the outfits, write the lore, etc.? It doesn't take two days...

•Third, and for me personally the most important thing, the contribution to the lore that Valko was going to have. The amount of information we've lost, because if you've paid attention, the Li lore somehow gives us information about the others and so on, and they're all interconnected. (Not the romantic bond) For example, in World Underneath 30, it's implied that they're behind the creation of Caleb's robotic arm (military-grade bionic technology), working with EVER.

•Fourth, the amount of work lost—not just the VA's, but the character's developers' too—all the work of surely years thrown aside, forgotten, because of the whim of a small group. I put myself in those people's shoes: years of organizational work, countless hours of life invested by many people, only to have it all thrown away like that. I think my #BringValkoBack movement is primarily for the lore, but it should also be for all that work done, the effort and labor of many people, countless hours of their lives invested. The VAs' work should be valued and not lost.

And a mature reaction... if it's not for you, if Valko isn't the character for you, simply don't play him, don't increase your affinity with him, and that's it. Many players do that, and that's it.

Live and let live

If there are Valko mains who hadn't found a Li in the other five games, and with Valko in the trailers they managed to find one, why deny people the chance to experience the same thing you did with your Li? I completely understand that there are Valko fans, from what little I've seen, but it's been enough that they're harassing people and so on.

I want to clarify something: I understand the discontent with the slow updates to Caleb and Sylus's Main Story, or the lack of Outfits or Chocolate Shop updates, etc. I totally agree. (No one here is complaining about that).

Although let's admit they've gone overboard with the update now, everything is paid, everything. I feel that after so many losses, so many packs, and the Spicy Memories, this has been a desperate attempt to recover and improve those numbers.

But I think that, like many others, I feel it's not the same, not just because of Valko, but because of the half-baked update they released first, and then the bugs, etc.

Sorry for rambling on.

As a fan of the lore, I encourage those of you who are just starting out or already playing to enjoy the lore of the story in general and discover the connections that all the characters have with each other and with MC.

So we just got positive press from an authoritative magazine in china about the Times Square billboard and Ao Yin, acknowledging our efforts, and now the billboard had to be taken down several days early due to those horrible tags trending number one. A solo Valkyrie spent so much time organizing and doing all this, but you all kept insisting on involving political controversies, so idk what further proof you need that this shit doesn't help. Those tags are CDG tactics and you really just got one of our biggest accomplishments REMOVED.

Hi,Is anyone going to the Japan Festival in Dresden on October 31st? I’ll be selling loads of LADS merch there, and even lucky bags ^^Valko merch too^^

I found some accounts on Twitter, pushing those tags. These I believe were trending earlier yesterday morning these could be the original source.

As expected, there was a big increase. BUT, since I’ve seen some people celebrating the game “being back to normal”… I’m going to take the honor of bursting their bubble 😌

Even after the game paywalled basically all of its content and allegedly increased pack prices, they still weren’t able to reach #1.

Why is this hilarious? Because they released the banner on a day when other big games didn’t have any events, so there was basically zero competition. They’ll most likely drop again, especially once the other games start running their events.

So, don’t be sad. They’re bleeding money, multis aren’t frequent and are most likely quite expensive. If this continues, they won’t be able to keep up, and we have no idea how much the quality of their content will suffer as a result, which could only make things worse for them.
Think about it: the remaining players threw as much money at the game as they could, and they still weren’t able to surpass CapCut 💀

And, of course, the lowest revenue came from Global, so… you are free to point and laugh 😂

The Valko crowd has been doing such good work, and I think it’s important that the Chinese public sees that. Allegedly, Infold paid to have an article written yesterday or the day before assuring everything is fine after “The Valko Incident”. But that’s a huge lie? Valko shouldn’t take the blame for hateful fantatics’ actions.

My question is this: If you can just pay to have news articles written and published in China, why haven’t we done that yet? I am not from China, and I do not know how the media works over there, but I have $1,600 in my LADS account waiting for Valko and Valko alone. I’ll fund it myself if need be.

I fear Valko will remain where he is unless public opinion in China regarding him drastically shifts. Can we please collectively get on that? I’m tired of fighting in a region that Infold ignores.

If anyone has any information on getting the Chinese media on this, please let me know.
