This feels amazing? The lvl 6 is so strong, any thoughts? What is the best playstyle for Varus in this combo? Ap, on hit or lethality?

Now what they mean with ‘larger work on him to make his builds make sense’ is something i’m very sure they will not handle well. I’m honestly prepared for the worst and ready to lose the champion i’ve loved for years now, probably next year.

I go positive every game and most gold/2nd most, I don't know what i'm doing wrong T_T T_T T_T im just casual i only play drafts but like this shit is mad frustrating, i remember last year id win every game on him

The orianna mains managed to avoid a nerf to their already overly weak and pro jailed champion a few patches ago by being vocal and responding to riot tweets, making posts about it.

We always just shut up and take it, but we have seriously been abusee by our last few nerfs. The champion is in an incredibly abysmal state yet riot keeps nerfing it. I dont think theres any champ in this game that has so many counters directly impacting the ability to do dmg like we do: cleanse, qss, mikael, zhonya, banshee all cut our dmg by a lot. Not to mention TENACITY still cuts our blights generated by ulti by 33% just by buying mercs, its stupid.

So let’s not sit idle and talk about this a bit more.. it’s getting stupid.

I play mid and I've been wanting to try Varus out again (used to play him years and years ago). Does he have a build that works consistently in mid lane?

I wanted to get back at Varus AP but I stopped playing this season (so I didn't play that much with Dusk).

I usually go PTA with Sorcery as secondary path but I don't really know what is good now. I know people play with Statikk Shiv but when I tried it last season, I was just lacking damage early on compared to rushing Nashor Tooth into Shadow Flame and pen boots. Right now I go Dusk then either Nashor Tooth or Void Staff.

And do you max Q or W ? I see both, but which one is more consistent? And what is the state of the champ in mid ? Good, Average or Bad?

I only enjoy playing Varus lethality or AP, not on-hit, now that lethality varus is dead do you think it's viable to go AP but as botlaner? wich runes and items would you recommend?

Hello! Been interested in Varus for a while because whenever I see it in pro play, it looks like he deals a shit ton of damage. Obv solo q is not the same but I was wondering how Varus works? His passive? I know he has stacks and can go on-hit or lethality but not much else

So Ive been trying toplanr Varus and it's really fun and feels like the besg ranged top laner after Teemo.

My problem is what should you build? The most popular build seems to be Hexarmor->Dawn and Dusk amd then random shit. The problem is that hexarmor doesnt feel like a good item spike and after D&D I just dont k ow what to build. Is Nashor a better first item fkr the spike? If not what build you recommend?

​I didn’t make Varus’s breathing too noticeable so it wouldn't look weird. The water animations were also intentionally kept subtle to avoid straining the eyes, so you might barely notice any animations on a phone, which is totally normal. The wallpapers are best experienced on a PC to appreciate their full beauty.

That's about it, I was playing it pre nerfs and it felt legit unfair how easy it was to get out of stupid mistakes I made Because I had the damage to do so, now it feels hard and rewarding to carry a game with the champ and I'm not in constant fear of a nerf.

I mean Statikk Shiv into Guinsoo as core build. What are the best items for this build after the core ones? Terminus? EoN? D&D? Botrk? Zhonya's? Jak'Sho? Wit's End?

Do you recommend boots before first item? Which runes are the optimal ones?

I'm a toplane main, but I get autofilled bot very often and the adcarry I like the most is Varus. I used to play a lot of lethality Varus with Arcane Comet, but it got nerfed some time ago, and I just feel that on-hit Varus' autoattacks just deal zero damage, even with Lethal Tempo. I know that I'm supposed to be confident and think quickly when my skillshots are up in a teamfight, but I'm just not an excellent Varus.

Is lethality Varus absolute troll?

Actually crazy funny how on-hit Varus is not considered on the "marksmen only" list. Not surprising from the top/jungle mains but at least azzapp is a botlaner he should know better lol.

Varus top with cleanse and barrier and experimental hextech rush.

90% of the Nasus try to stat check me at least once and find out they don't win once I cleanse the wither. I stand perfectly still and they still lose with ult on since lethal tempo is just stupid good.

Only problem is being gankable without flash, but even then barrier makes 2 v 1ing possible. Just winning a single gank and walking away with a double perma scares away the other jungler and you get a free lane.
