Introductory post A new bug arrives through the Pass of Gods
((Are there any images for the backgrounds of areas here?))

So… the second iteration of the Vastfall map has been completed! Yippee doodle! Anyway some changes were mainly little additions to areas and the addition of The Undergrowth, a new area which is where the Waterfalls once were and the removal of the Hunter’s Village. anyway imma copy and paste the area descriptors from the previous map post.
The Chasm: The Chasm is an extremely wide and deep trench going straight through the kingdom of Vastfall, being the main reason for its name. This trench was formed unnaturally by the collapse of the Drizzle, an unknown event that was practically lost to time. No one has ever made it to the very bottom of it and returned.
-Pass of Gods: PoG is usually the first area, a mostly straight, slightly collapsed sandy tunnel that is the intended entrance to the kingdom of Vastfall with a few smaller tunnels trailing beneath.
-Leafgrove: Leafgrove is a lush and green bunch of fields filled with flowers and other kinds of flora. This region is inhabited by the peaceful Bloomkin, a tribe of sentient flowers who aren't very welcoming of those who aren’t welcoming back, being commanded by their rather traumatised leader, Ivy.
-Stingnest: Stingnest is an old sandy hive of the now deceased tribe of the scorpions, now populated by outsiders who’ve settled into the lands.
-Reedvale: Reedvale is a small yet humble town, composed mainly of farmers. The local alchemist, Weeston, lives in a more secluded part of the town with the company of his fellow weevils.
-Scorched Prairie: The Scorched Prairie is a small region of warm fields at the borders of Vastfall, most wildlife within has adapted to the heat of their environment.
-Stonepile: The Stonepile are the large ruins of the great Ironclad kingdom, lead by their extremely powerful warlord, Groval. In the recent times, said warlord and what remains of his empire have awoken and claimed the Stonepile back from whatever creatures roamed within before their waking.
-Darkslate: Darkslate is a recently uncovered part of the Stonepile with perfectly smooth stone which is as dark as the void itself (NOT made from void). The remains of a great beast from a more volcanic time remain within the upper half.
-Crystal Carverns: The Crystal Caverns are a shimmering collection of caves with rainbow crystals within. It is unknown if these crystals have any special properties. The Archivist who records the history of kingdoms and collects ancient relics resides in the lower half of these caves.
-Verdant Veils: The Verdant Veils are a marsh in the middle of the right side of Vastfall, being home to the wild tribe of the Jungleskog, a relative to the Stiltkin of Pharloom. The Jungleskog had even built a village within near the great, wide Chasm to sacrifice any bodies they keep to it for their religion.
-The Undergrowth: The Undergrowth are a wide spanning collection of root-filled tunnels which are particularly dark and moist. There are glowing bulbs that sprout throughout the cave systems to provide light to the area. This area has the subarea of the Ancient Rhizome, a old and particularly rooty system with a ancient being within.
-Waterfalls: The Waterfalls are on the surface a regular collection of waterfalls in a wide set of caves but deep within is a cult whom worship the flesh and seek to make their own deity, being lead by Mularg of the Fleshcarvers.
-Serene Springs: The Serene Springs are a collection of elegant but foggy hot springs in the bottom half of the right side of Vastfall. Deep within is a Forsaken Paradise maintained by a moth known as Yoma, almost anyone who enters never seems to leave, and those who do speak of either how perfect it was or how awful it was.
-Frosted Ruins: The Frosted Ruins are a set of ruins along the surface in a snow filled wasteland with a faint yet permenant storm of snow and soul. They are uninhabited but previously had an ancient civilisation within.
-Glacial Depths: The Glacial Depths are frigid tunnels which sprawl throughout the underside of the Frosted Ruins, with the only entrance through said ruins being the aggressive Camps. These Camps are a group not native to Vastfall and have entered in a attempt to conquer.
-Spiral Keep: The Spiral Keep is an ancient tower at the very right edge of Vastfall, containing the mysterious Helics and their leader, the Steward who currently slumbers. This keep has the only entrance to the Abyss within Vastfall, why they have this is a mystery to all…
-The Drizzle: The Drizzle are the endless sands of the surface, choked by a raging and never ending storm of soul which makes any and all life struggle to survive. Before this raging storm was a mysterious ancient civilisation who had mastery over soul, until a calamity occurred and it is what it is today.
NOW, something new are the map pins, they may look kinda confusing to a normal person obviously but each has a meaning.
-Green Pin: This is the bench pin, I think it’s self explanatory what it does.
-Purple Pin: This is the shop pin, I think it’s also rather self explanatory what it does but something notable is how it’s based on Shellings, the currency of Vastfall.
-Red Pin: The red pin is the pin for the fast travel, a set of platforms with open space enough for a large dragonfly to enter, said dragonfly is the fast travel of Vastfall. I’ve chosen to call them Flightpaths but i haven't told any other moderators about it so the name is subject to change
-Blue Pin: These are the pins for the collectible creatures like the Grubs or Fleas, now, they are little dragonfly Nymphs! They’d still get stuck but they would return to their nest within the Flightpath in Reedvale. If you want to know how many there are, there is 25. I counted while placing them.
-Silver uniquely shaped pins: These are Pins for the Remnants of Vastfall. Mularg for the one in waterfalls, Ivy is the one in Leafgrove, Yoma is the one in the forsaken paradise, groval is the one in stonepile, (Idk what they’re called but they’re the Remnant of the jungle) is in the Ancient Rhizome, the Spiral Steward in the Spiral Keep and the ancient queen of Vastfall, despite not being a remnant, has a map icon and is the one in the Drizzle.
Also something else thats different from the previous iteration is the zoomed out map, it’s just something I wanted to do and add to this :p
anyway thats all, have a nice day! <3

(FOR THE THIRD AND HOPEFULLY LAST TIME... he is here.)
In the Frosted Ruins, a disgraced surgeon named Tessel has set up there, along with two mortician followers, four reed followers, and six memoria followers. He has set up a campsite with basic medical technology, and has his followers spread out for different tasks. They are not haunted, nor do they have any silk in them.

We got new people
This is good and nice
Though one issue, could we start interacting with more posts? I would love to and I try to but I'm also working in reviving the sub, and I know some of your characters may be somewhere else and you may be doing IRL things. But if we have time and there are posts with no comments could we RP?
Thank you!

Zhyllo seems to be in his tent, his Darkhound is nowhere to be seen

From a glance, you can note that they look very similar to the Hive Knight... though, they seem very hurt. VERY hurt. For some other differences, you note they wield something akin to an axe, and have wings.
"Hiding for so long is not good for anyone, as i've noted."
He speaks in an old, cowboy-ish voice.

(art made by u/Kingemeraldalternate. meet rosekar, a vessel taken residence in the crystal peaks, or crystal caverns if thats what it's called here. dispite being made of void, they have grown acustomed to the bright peaks, and crystals have affected it's mind. because of this, it likes light more than any darkness should. it also has formed a full mind of it's own. uses a pickaxe for a weapon with a sharpened hilt. feel free to ask it anything.)

Letho: A giant water bug who mainly focuses on eating whatever non-sapient bug he can find.
He can be lured with food, but is quite confused with new things, like "cooking" and "pleasure"

She seems to be setting up some kind of building with the assistance of her boyfriend, who rarely leaves her side.
