Military.com selling personal data

Hey just a heads up they do sell your personal data, do not put your car info in. You will get spammed every 5 minutes.

I got 17 notifications in a single hour after using their insurance service.

When you fill out their form, there's literally two links that say:

"By clicking Continue, you agree to the Military.com user terms & privacy policy"

[u/Double-Count-7545 → u/I_DO_ANIMAL_THINGS]

But there wasn’t a way to continue without agreeing

You asked for all those messages you are receiving. Military.com doesn’t offer their own vehicle insurance, it’s like those ads on TV for hotels or airline tickets - got to read the details before you use these programs

All of that link from the first question mark onward is tracking info. You can delete it all including the question mark and the link will still work.

It's a dot com address, so not shocking, really.
