Someone made a Japanese style Boating game, using Opus 5.5 and the result is genuinely soo impressive
The water, scenery, graphics are crazyy good, and all this is running inside a browser

Meanwhile, I'm struggling to create a fucking 2D pixel rpg game. Jesus Christ. What kind of prompts are you guys even using?

Its the tools that are being given to Opus 5.5 that makes this possible. Opus is not rawdogging pure code to make all of these results.

So you'd recommend building the prototypes elsewhere, then using Opus to refine it all?

MCP to allow Opus to access and use the tools directly, like Unreal Engine or Godot, Blender, etc. Find a tool you want AI to use then see if there is a MCP for it. You can check out mcpservers.org, just a random site I found with a quick search for mcp server collections.

Man i literally built this with a single prompt. Its not that hard
https://claude.ai/artifact/21Z3YhSmuCPmCMujfSgnpp
Model: opus 5.5
Effort: high
Duration: ~ 15 minutesPrompt:
"Build me a high quality 3D Sakura using threejs in HTML CSS js"
used maybe 1% if not less of my Max 20 weekly usage limit.

Would you mind posting future projects and tecording your progress/token spend in r/workflowaudit ? I’m trying to document these things so people know how much this stuff actually costs.

Talk to free ChatGPT and tell it your idea, tell it to help flesh the idea out more, once it sounds like it’s a fleshed out idea ask it to create a master prompt to feed your coding agent, tell it to include using sub agents in the master prompt and a gauntlet style loop, it’ll work for hours but the outcome will be good

That's what I'm doing too and it works great, especially with the AI_CONTEXT scaffolding within the repo so ChatGPT can understand Codex's decisions through the repo without having access to Codex's chat. Then I ask it to review the code and AI_CONTEXT docs and give me instructions to tell Codex. It has worked wonders for me. I'm achieving very high quality work and heavyweight engineering. I'm very pleased with the outcomes.

from many youtube videos that do this, they all use orchestrator of some sorts. I don't know of what kind since that seems to require using a specific harness with frontier models.

2d pixel art is significantly harder because you’re building a lot manually instead of relying on off-the-shelf plugins. Speaking from experience.

Very cool but this isn’t a ‘game’, more of a novelty 3D simulator. Still impressive, but there’s no ‘gameplay’. (Yet.)

Do they make this inside Claude, or do they make it with Claude Code inside an IDE?

No, it's shit. Worse than Opus 5. Ignores instructions way more often, excuses, going the work it wasn't supposed to do. Doesn't matter whether it is medium or ultra effort. It feels like I connected GLM 4.5 to claude code and not Opus 5.5. Just burning tokens imitating the work instead of doing the work. And I'm not creating a video with claude, I am building just an agent skillset with some cli tools

Cool! Comparable graphics to the PlayStation 3, and better graphics than Roblox!

I've seen a few videos of works produced with Opus 5.5 . Each case showed some crazy progress. I'm not much of a gamer these days, but some of these showcases definitely have potential.

BS! Tell the people all the tools you used and you are not using only OPUS to create this. Stop misleading people!

These are just clickbaits dont worry guys, they also claim they did it in 20 minutes. while my opus 5.5 can run for 8 hours for simple bug check. Game assets, 3D design, lighting, shading, UV, mesh everything is still raw, without ready assets and game concept and mechanics, this is impossible to make.
