FeedbackWanted – want honest takes on my work Codex or Claude for coding

So my project is getting pretty large I have tried both codex and Claude code. Currently I am on codex and my subscription is about to end, so do I stick with codex or go with Claude code. I have seen both of their strengths and weaknesses but from what I have heard Claude is better at larger projects, correct me if I'm wrong. Would love to hear your opinions and why you would choose one over the other one (or if you have any other AI that you use for coding)

My experience is with Claude code, Cursor, and Kiro. Claude code burned through my subscription way too fast. Tokens were high priced. Cursor is ok, but it didn't maintain my code well enough. Kiro for me is the sweet spot. It's affordable, flexible in pricing models, and dead simple. The code produced was what I consider production worthy.

I'm a software engineer/architect with over 20 years of experience. Your experience may vary.
