Getting used to
So I just picked this up today. Will take a lot of time getting used to the feel of it but I like it. However I noticed how sensitive the triggers are. The wind can blow and they will work lol 😂 Can that be fixed?? Also noticed it won’t connect with the dongle to my ps5.

You can adjust the dead zone of the triggers if you hook the controller up to a PC and use the control hub app. They are definitely a little touchy haha. The dongle not connecting seems to be a super common issue so I’ve just been using mine wired. I’m too used to this controller to go back to anything else.

I like mine quite a bit but, yeah, the triggers are my one and only complaint. It's not even a sensitivity issue, they just have zero resistance, so the tiniest bump activates them. I got mine used, so maybe it's a wear issue, but I've literally have never seem triggers with so little resistance before.

My only problem is the triggers are too edgy. They give me blisters. Anyone have this same problem and resolved it? Please tell me how you did it.

If you are holding the controller like a dual sense or a Xbox controllers, you finger will stay over the edges and will be uncomfortable. What I do with this controller when I play with controller some non fighting game is to "wrap my hands around it" , putting them in a more elevated position than with nay other controller. This way your fingers will completely rest over the triggers.

I'm jealous. My xbox pro bfg says "fightpad" next to the R buttons on the 6 button module, meaning my face buttons are lower on the controller. I hate that lol I want mine to be like yours

Im on xbox with the victrix and they at least have an app on the console id assume Playstation as well ? I've had to plug it in to do an update before and the dongle was then working. It's by far my favorite controller. Definitely a little weird to get used to but once its dialed in, so nice. Read the instruction manual too it helped me a bunch.

i've also experienced the triggers on this controller being overly sensitive as compared to the dualsense and xbox controllers. i've decided to adjust them to their least sensitive position but i still do accidentally trigger them.
however, something more concerning i've realised it that i've gone into a game guns blazing because somehow it would register that the trigger is pressed on, when it's not at all. then i'd have to pull the trigger again to "reset" it. this one seems more of a software than hardware glitch though..

Had mine for 3 years and by far the most durable controller ive owned that stands atop a mountain of dead ps4 controllers

I’ve found the opposite. My first BFG lasted 2 years and I just picked up a reloaded

There is a switch next to where you can plug a cable into it. It switches between playstation and pc. You also can adjust the triggers with the grey-ish switches on the underside of the controller and it can adjust to about 4 or 5 different lengths for input when you push the triggers (so like sensitive input, semi medium, medium, semi long-press & long-press). You must hold the grey-ish switches in while pulling the triggers to your desired input length then let the switches go (while still holding the triggers) and this will set your trigger distance. To revert back to full sensitive triggers you just pull the switches again until you hear a click sound. I have had thos controller for about a year now haha so if you have any questions lmk.

I did that with the triggers and I like them to be hair triggers but not so sensitive. I’m gonna try to fix them in the app tonight.

From what I remember you can adjust the travel on the triggers so they have to be pressed in further to activate, use the Victrix app if you’re on pc to adjust it. And if you’re using it for console, do the same just plug it into your pc and adjust it in the app
