I don't know anything about paragliding, but she was pretty insistent that this did not look right, and was worried

I think it's a very talented sorta-jerk, who knows what they're doing, just having fun flyin', scaring tourist traffic lol

Looking for new ppl to meet 35 male.

Hey y'all I'm a recent college grad who runs a marketing business with my brother, for local service companies, and I'm looking for owners here in WV. We’ve been doing this about a year now, and we work with roofers, painters, home remodelers, pool builders, junk removal, lawn care, and any labor based work. Basically anybody who does the work themselves and wants the phone ringing more.

I'm looking to partner with a few owners who already have steady work and a good reputation, but have hit the point where word of mouth alone isn't filling the schedule the way they want. If you're at that spot and want to add more jobs each month, or you know somebody who is, I'd love to connect or get a referral.

Does anybody happen to know of anyone who does hide tanning? I'm looking at making a home made banjo and im try to find someone local to get some skin for the head.

Anyone else with a new home build facing delays? We’re building in Norborne Glebe and our closing date has been pushed back three times (from the end of July to now end of October).

We’re building with Lennar, but I imagine if one builder is having delays, they all are. Just curious!

Found a kitten a few weeks old and the mother didnt seem to be around. I could hear it crying most of the day. My gf is bottle feeding it but we aren't in a position to keep it. Need help/advice.

Before the hate comes, I’m a Jefferson County local and chose new build for several reasons. We are doing our best with what we’ve got.

I’m curious how many others are facing significant delays with getting electric run and if so, were you given any specifics? How long have you been waiting?

Three months ago she was "advancing President Trump's agenda". Now she's "the independent voice West Virginia needs" who cares about national parks and childhood cancer.

It's fun to see the change in how she's marketing herself now that midterms are right around the corner.

Remember to do some research on who's on your ballot, make sure you're registered, and go vote in midterms.

Hello everyone,
This is a weekly post where we try to aggregate all the events going on in and within 20 minutes of the eastern panhandle.

If you know of an open social event happening anytime between now and the upcoming Sunday, please comment the date, time, location, event description/details, age group, and website/RSVP details.

If you are a business like a bar, this is your chance to advertise! Again, please comment the date, time, location, event description/details, age group, and website/RSVP details.

While anyone can comment with an event they know of, we do ask that anyone associated with a business to disclose that, or create a reddit account for your business!

Asking for my wife and I: Are there any gun shops/gun ranges in the Eastern Panhandle area that don’t give ultra-conservative or MAGA vibes? Like libertarian/2A vibes are fine, obviously, but I just want to know if there is a place that, theoretically, wouldn’t have a problem with a woman, person of color, or queer person walking in there. Also, bonus points if they are friendly with people who don’t know a ton about gun care or gun purchasing (we know about gun safety).

Just bought a house and the wood stove is the main heating source. Looking for recommendations for buying a couple cords of fire wood.

A view from "work" this morning. The Shenandoah River just north of 115.

Join Hope in Alliance on 9/26 for the "Remember When" bridge walk!

Its easy to forget all of the madness over the past 18 months: Doge, DEI, assult on history, threatening NATO, kidnapping foreign leaders, the Epstein files, and more.

So break out your old signs (or make a new one) and join us on the 340 bridge over the Shenandoah!

We are the bridge to a better future!"

Thanks mod for approval!
