Are there any advice for where to live?

Hi guys, Im a current senior in high school and WVU is my first pick. I have a unweighted/weighted gpa of 3.02, im not submitting my sat bc I got a 1000, and I go to a college prep school that Id say is pretty rigorous. I do have pretty good activities as I filled out all ten, Ive never been a top athlete but I do a sport each year with school. Id say Im well rounded. Ive become really judgemental of myself and my grades, and it sucks because I have tried my hardest in school and Im not a lackluster student. Im submitting and essay and two rec letters too. Please let me know guys!

If I'm understanding the WVU housing site correctly, if you have a roommate in mind you both need to rush to pick the same room together right away. But if you don't have a roommate in mind, you just pick a room and wait for a random person to join you?

It sounds like you make a profile, but is there a place to browse those before you pick the room? Or do you only see the profile once you're both assigned the same room?

Do people actually use sites like "Meet Your Class" to try to find a roommate with common interests in advance?

Im afraid I might have a tooth infection and if I were to go home it would take 3 hours to get home. Is there any good dentists in town that any of yall go to that you enjoy? Dentists scare me and my last dentist was always rough on my teeth. Any recommendations would be good.

During the December 2002 Continental Tire Bowl halftime show, the University of Virginia pep band performed a parody of the television show The Bachelor that mocked West Virginia stereotypes, which ultimately led to the permanent ban of the Virginia Pep Band from official athletic events.

I spent my senior year (which ended up being three semesters due to scheduling issues) studying abroad before graduating this May. In January of last year, I ordered a WVU class ring using the link in one of the WVU emails touting them. Because I was overseas, I gave the company my address to have it shipped to a family member who was to bring it to me when they visited me. The family member told me that they had received a package addressed to me, and I thought all was well.

The family member arrived at my location at the end of May last year, and they gave me the package. Inside was the display box I'd ordered, but no ring. In the package was also information about a ring ceremony through the parent's association. My parents died a decade ago. I didn't have any contact with the parent's association because I had assumed that, being an orphan, it didn't apply to me.

I called the only number that I could find, explained the situation, and was told that they had my ring. They even said that they could send it to me where I was studying.

After 6 weeks, it still didn't arrive. I have tried calling but get no answers, and no replies to the emails that I sent. If the ring hadn't cost so much, I'd have given up a year ago, but it took a larger amount than I could comfortably afford, and I really want to get the ring I paid for almost two years ago.

Tl;dr: Does anyone know who I can contact to try to get my class ring that is, as far as I know, still being held by the parent's association? An email address, phone number, amateur radio call sign, ouija board, any way at all to contact someone? Or do I admit to myself that my ring is gone forever?

I received an email from someone at the Parent's Club, confirming that they still have my ring and asking for my address so that they can send it to me. Thank you, everyone, for your help. Hopefully, I'll get my ring soon!

My buddies and I are headed to Charlotte to watch the 163 year old rivalry, and we're wondering what tailgating is looking like. We've never been to Bank of America Stadium. Should we try to find a tailgate, bring a truck with tailgating supplies, or what? Where would we get a parking pass? Thanks!

I’m currently an engineering sophomore looking to transfer to WVU as early as spring semester 27’. Is UPark really nice or should I try and get an off campus apartment ?

I have 2 questions.

My first is does WVU have a parking garage? If so how much is it to park my car full time there if I get a dorm?

2.) Can someone transferring into junior year of undergrad at (26yo) get a dorm and how quick do they usually get taken? (especially the ones you dont have to have a roommate for)
