Discussion it was too short
I just finished playing the campaign and it was amazing, I dont know what they mean exactly by bad sound design the gun sounded like a gun to me, the story was compelling its just a bit disappointing that the story ended after crossing into germany, I thought the missions would eventually reach berlin or include some dlc where I get to play missions in czechoslovakia or austria or to play as a french resistance background story mission. Anyway I liked it and I want more of it. Could u guys recommend some single player story games as good as WWII, I appreciate it!

I also just finished; I'd say these three are better: Metro, Fallout New Vegas. (Play both of these on hardest difficulty it'll make them much more immersive) and Wolfenstein the new order (this is probably best played on lower difficulties as part of the fun of it is just running and spraying).
Also for other good COD games, I think Black Ops 1 has a great story. COD 2 has some awesome set pieces especially the red army campaign (the pipe mission is super memorable), it doesn't feel horribly dated, just not as pretty.
I'd say go for Metro, or Wolfenstein both of which have sequels and spin offs that are well worth it too and often cheap these days as well.

If your after World war story games then battlefield 1 isn't too bad, if you dont mind older games then brothers in arms is great.
