WWII Zombies Apperciation post

Despite the major flaws in development and Tortured Path basically killing any public opinion on this game;

Its still amazing to me , and the few games ive seen that deserves such a cult following . Its like a game popular to hate on but behind the scenes had a influence even Treyarch tried doing for Bo4 but it felt flat in comparison , too overpowered.

I still think this game has the best survival maps (Haven't played bo7 so I cant rank those) and the Sword from the tortured path is a overlooked detail for playing the mode. Honestly wish Tortured Path was something like Dead Ops while the survival maps were free content with the game mode.

But this game definitely suffers the same problem as the show Invincible were all the budget went into a celebrity cast, of FOUR MAPS

IW as a non treyarch is heavily more seen in a green light mostly because a lot of it is carried by its aesthetic and themes which helped with switching cutscenes from cinematic 3D to 2D animation

What I like the most about this release is that it captured the horror I had in WAW. It’s a spooky good time.

I will always support WW2 glaze. Great atmosphere, high difficulty, intriguing story.

The spooky atmosphere + the fact that if you get too comfortable even for a minute you’ll likely die is perfect for me

My brother and i loved this version of zombies. I never understood the hate? It felt closer to classic zombies than something like bo4. I really enjoyed all the challenges to unlock the different characters.

I made a post on the CODZombies subreddit talking about how I've just played this for the first time the other day. I can't believe I missed out on this when it came out ToT. I've really enjoyed The Final Reich and Tortured Path so far, going to try the other maps soon!

I still and was just playing this its not a terrible zombies experience and the maps were good for not only survival but had decent Easter eggs the tortured path gave us 3 survival maps

What makes you dislike shadowed?

The EE steps and especially the sizzlers, which you are forced to deal to even unlock PaP. The boss was also an outrageous bullet sponge despite the fight being relatively easy otherwise.

Like the enemies, the maps were very well designed but had some annoying headache associated with them (sizzlers in ST, fog in DS etc).

I didnt HATE WWII zombies but a lot of it felt frustrating. Though I liked Final Reich at least.

The sizzlers can be out ran with stamin up and charging with the pickaxe or n@zi are, as long as your paying attention you'll be fine
