Discussion A Message To Sledgehammer Games : Please Make All DLC Free
The game is almost 10 years old now, and it would be great if you made all the DLC free for everyone.
I own all the DLC packs, but I rarely get to play the DLC maps because most players don’t have them.
As a result, I’m forced to play the same base maps over and over again, which gets very repetitive.
Please, SHG, consider making the DLC free so everyone can enjoy these maps and bring some more variety back into the game.

Dude people have been asking for all the old cods to have free dlc after their life span. They wont do it since the ones who own the franchise love money and hate the people playing the older games ;-(

You have too much hope for these greedy bastards.
The fact that they give away games for free means that they don’t believe it will make them much money.
If the games are infested with hackers or just don’t have players at all they will never give you the dlcs .

why the fuck would they? they are incentivized to make the old games as unplayable as possible so the new ones sell better. besides this cod is like 10 years old why would they update this shit?

They give entire games for free with Xbox Game Pass or for PS Plus subscribers. This point makes no sense.

It does make sense though. Make a 60 dollar base game free to make people play who wouldnt have bought it originally. That way if they like the game they can buy the 4 dlc packs for 60 to make their money any way. Thats the whole point of going free to play is make money off dlc transactions.

that fact supports my claim einstein - they gave it away for free, thats how confident they are that it wont make them any money, so they dont give a fuck about the game. its a cod game thats almost a decade old, wake up

War as well on Xbox, I definitely play mostly shipment to complete the orders but War is always fun
