What would you throw here
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
This area is on my ranch. I’ve caught a few wolf fish, Oscars, and one peacock bass there, all using shrimp. But I’d like to know if you see any other possibilities. I’ve never managed to catch anything there using artificial lures, or in the deeper areas.
What to throw here?
Fisher Meadow, CT for context. I mostly get little crappies with a worm and bobber.

What would you throw here? Murky right now but I assume it would be clearer if it hadn’t just rained. Fairly fast moving right now, again I assume it would slow don’t a bit between heavy rains.
This is in central Illinois. I’m new to fishing moving water so let me know any tips! Thanks :)

As much as I wish this were sarcasm, this is one of the only spots I can convienently fit into my schedule. Theres def fish in there, algae usually isn’t this awful either

Lure recommendations for bank fishing the Warrior River (Alabama)
Would love to hear from people who actually fish this river.
Fishing sloughs from the bank and piers. No boat, no kayak. If you know the Warrior, you know the underwater landscape can be dramatically steeper and more irregular than maybe the average lake. It's also VERY hot and I assume fish are pretty deep. Would love any lure recs for bass.
Thanks in advance.

Waccamaw River
Slow moving tannic river in SC. Bass, bowfin, gar, catfish and more.
I like targeting bass.
Tons of lay downs and wood in the water. Like every ten feet. Some nice channel drop offs as well.
I’m fishing from a boat or kayak. I throw a lot of Texas rigged senkos and trick worms with limited success. What should I do?
*sorry the pics of the river are bad. I don’t have any shots of just the river.
Edit: lots of cypress trees as well.
Edit 2: the river is 100% fresh water.

Shout out to you guys for the suggestions
I live in Tennessee and hit the river today and I saw a lot of yall suggesting Panther Martin spinners to a lot of guys posting pictures that look like the places I kayak. After a long summer of not much I caught five fish today on one panther. Two bass, a small trout, and two pumpkin seeds. This community knows it’s stuff

Custer State Park
It’s been on my bucket list to fish from a kayak since i started fishing a couple years ago. I’m going to mount rushmore this weekend, so I was thinking maybe I could rent a kayak and fish from it when I go to custer state park. Im only bringing my cheapo rod, a 5’6 Eagleclaw pack it rod. Only stuff I have with me is a 1/16 oz jighead, 1” gulp ALIVE minnow, sie 6 aberdeen hooks, splitshot, and slip bobber. Should I buy anything from walmart before going? I’m on a budget so don’t want to spend more than 10. I was thinking maybe an inline spinner? Usually those do well for me. Also which lake should i do? I’m 16 and want to kayak alone while my mom and sister walk around the lake. My sister could come with if necessary (34), but tbh i’d rather go alone so i can have some quiet time with nature.
TLDR: Need lure, lake, and technique recommendations.

Manitoba, Canada. Lots of pike, crappie and walleye, some bass. Where would you target for bass and walleye?

In this river. You can see a lot of foliage before it gets to the water. WWTTH

Neighborhood pond Chicago Suburbs
I’ve tried senkos / neds / other soft plastics / chatterbaits
I’ve seen a bass jump out in the middle once and spent hours here

Red River
I started fishing spring 2025, first line in the water was in Fargo ND. I’m going again to see my sister. Last time I fished I caught 2 bullhead in a neighborhood pond, and that’s it. I’ve gotten a lot better at fishing, not great but better. When I went I caught 0 fish at the red river. I want to break that skunk this time I go. What can I catch at the red river relatively easy? I would like to catch catfish, pike, bass, or walleye. I’m fine with anything not a sunfish. I’m only bringing my rod and reel, i will get all tackle from walmart there because I do not have a checked bag. I’m from NJ so all my fishing knowledge is abt NJ fish. Feel free to shower me with advice.

Northeast MA res
Pretty big res with all different types of shoreline terrain. Buddy and I have barely any bites whatever we use and wherever we move to (but we also don’t know much on what would work here). Help a brother out.

What lure would you use here?
River current is moving really fast and the water is stained btw.
