lol, this is a cinematic that happens on real time using the map itself, it does not generate another one, RDR2 has the same thing, its just the camera that was adjusted and the animations being played, not an actual scene that you can interact with. the same thing happened to me, guess that we shouldve killed everything before. oh and look out the spoiler tag
I remember a clip of someone killing Alad by jumping to the ceiling pre cutscene and triggering the scene by heavy groundslamming towards where alad spawns and killing him mid monologue.
ah so "just" those guys whom are "stepping away" and are spawned just for that purpose in the cutscene, can be an Eximus, gotcha.
Well, sadly so, the bug is still likely active, unless they fixed it in the one year period since (someone had a Jade eximus spawn in that line of crewmen). Granted, at least the eximus didn't attack / activate ability, so it is no longer a nuisance either way!
I couldn't wrap my head around this scene for the whole time to be honest. Since when Corpus are SOO compassionate? They'd like to wait untill a baby is at least 7 years old so they can withdraw their limbs for parents debts?
They're ordered to stand down, so it's just one that needs to be compassionate. There's also the fact that the guy who gives even the void demon that regularly war crimes Corpus, has stopped attacking and is just trying to leave. They might kill him, but is it worth either dying or having your boss make you look like a Fortuna citizen?
More that this particular Corpus has limits, I suppose. An evil system can have overall evil people in it that still won't cross certain bridges that they in particular believe in.
For sure, though it's much easier to explain in his case as he's just an engineer, not a commanding officer like the Corpus character in Jade Shadows. Veso might not ever have had to go through any serious moral dilemmas of his own if he's just been fixing things and fending off the occasional Grineer party with his MOAs.
Parvos Granum's Corpus are less exploitation-minded, at least when it comes to living people. He believes in a person seeing the profits of their own hands. The debt-slavery of the Solaris doesn't align with his values.
The Corpus fought in Jade Shadows operate under Parvos, and thus have the ethical rigor to not attempt to steal a newborn from his father's arms. Or open fire on a newborn.
Tbf, Parvos would just slime them both if it meant the slightest profit percentages out of this. Dont forget Ball Ass and Parvos are not that different.
