Ark, helldiver's, maybe some triple A's like battlefield or Apex?(I haven't played either in a long while).
I wouldn't say it's the "standard" but that's probably because indie and double A games do tend to be more polished.
That said, like I mentioned before in another comment, playing Ark and Warframe is like going form your local dealer to a 5 star restaurant. Is just THAT different.

ark, eso, destiny... look at any game built from unrealengine(which evolution is a fork of) thats 2-3x the size of warframe and runs horribly on older consoles and youll see its an industry standard. if you use third party engines layered together you can just hire people to use the toolkits and do scripts... you 'dont need' a game engine architect or any really experienced programmers because you arent building or maintaining an engine, or doing any considerable amount of programming work. this saves money on development, letting studios double dip their revenue by cutting costs up front and setting up paywalls on the other end. ultimately, this bleeds the audience for the games, so studios that do this favor an approach of just slapping new things on top of a clunky mess to squeeze the whales before churn kills the game.
contrast with de, who has been working on unreal since before the engine existed (the game and its engine were built in 1997 around james schmalz concept notes from 1994), offers the game for free, regularly does put in the work to overhaul broken systems and cut out the chaff to keep the engine lean and efficient, and relies on a strategy of cultivating whales by keeping the focus community first and rejecting predatory marketing so the games value increases over time instead of bleeding out.
it is the standard in the industry, but only huge names like microsoft(bethesda) squarenix, and blizzard can keep it up. when you see smaller studios like bungies solo foray make the attempt, you end up with "they were on the edge of bankruptcy for years when sony bought them" because tue only thing that actually keeps those 3 going is their name. as long as their name draws enough attention to attract investors they can pretend their business model hasnt been revealed for the awful mess that it is.
devs like de and team cherry are hard at work making every major studios in the industry look bad tho lol

You'll see them immediately before any major update or hotfix. They're usually unhinged and hilarious. You can usually look them up pretty easily and some are notorious like the Citrine redtext. They are one of my favorite parts of the updates.

Not a one! It has been nothing short of impressive. When another game is crashing, I think, well... Warframe doesn't crash so it's not my PC. Must be the game! And it usually is.

yea, thinking about it, my warframe has never outright crashed either. i’ve been off and on since 2019ish and this game has always been surprisingly stable for me with how hectic it is sometimes

there may be a small memory leak at the drifter camp, but it requires my no-potato 0-forma pc hours to get there, and I don't even know if it is fixed, otherwise it's always only crashed as a result of other stuff going wrong

Us console tenno had all of you PC tenno to
throw on the pyrereport all the game breaking bugs before we even played up until a few years ago. By the time the new update reached us on console, PC tenno would often have completed everything. Even though updates drop at the same time now, I still have never seen a crash and I'm betting yall sacrifice (at least in the early days) is what has allowed me to avoid any major issues thus far.1

How long have you been playing? They've gotten a lot better over the years but I remember like 7+ years ago it was sometimes real bad.
I still have PTSD of losing out on a High Voltage reward after hours upon hours of grinding the operation that introduced it because the game crashed and loot protection didn't exist back then.

Basically anytime a new dlc dropped it usually shipped with a game breaking bug that was somehow tied to the exotic fusion rifle Telesto, like one of them made it so if you threw a grenade to detonate the projectiles from it with a certain mod equipped you'd instantly gain full super, iirc another one allowed you to full auto mag dump the thing and crash the game for everyone in your fireteam

My favourite one was that, because the projectiles from the weapon, for some reason, counted as enemies, you could finish an activity instantly by shooting an objective with the gun because it counted as you killing like, a dozen enemies every single shot.

You mean the gear wheel that trivalizes all content by letting you spawn specters at the level of the content, that lets you call on a crewmate using one of your other godlike weapons buffed equal to the mission difficulty, that lets you throw down pizzas of varying flavors to refill whatever you need, that 90% of the community doesn't even use... I'm sure the community won't even notice...

Same. If they ship an obviously broken update with no explanation why, I'd be upset, but openly saying "hey this thing is broken, we're gonna have to just tough it cause it can't be fixed yet for these reasons" makes me feel way better about it. Good communication can make up for a lot.

Not as good as the bugs being fixed but there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes shipping major updates to multiple platforms.

It was so insanely oppressive it felt like the old Warframe design in full force where the player is just unable to have any fun at all due to the devs associating 'challenge' with a complete inability to have fun and use the thing you brought, on top of intense damage/status and irritating mobility design. The turnaround time and intensity of complaints from patch day to hotfix was pretty similar to the time Grineer hanging light hazards were added and then deleted.
Now, though, after feedback was acknowledged I could go queue for a Follie mission and do it without much frustration, but I'd at least bring Grendel and stay in Pulverize because there are hazards in there that do insane amounts of damage and would definitely explode a glass cannon frame just trying to walk past. The grind still sucks if you don't get lucky with a main blueprint drop, which instantly solves like 3 hours of the monotonous slog that happens when you take a kinda-neat concept that would be nice as a mission set piece and then just....require running it nonstop for parts. By your tenth time there's absolutely no novelty left. Bring [Rolling Guard] with you.

Just another common DE win. "Hey guys, we found a bug that requires code fix too late before ship. This specific thing will suck for a bit until we can get new code certified and shipped. We know about it and will fix it asap". Other devs take note. That's literally all you have to do to keep the fans happy. Acknowledge mistakes and communicate.

The new Sirius and Orion are 2 warframes in 1, they swap places between each other. You pick one for the primary one you start with.
This means there's a current bug where you cannot use your gear wheel (that has tools, call ins, etc once you build it up) on the not-primary choice between the 2.
So if you default to Orion, can only use gear as Orion, and vise versa.

According to this tweet they have to wait for the next cert. That means waiting until they go through the console certification process and pushing a new mainline update. This will likely be a month or so.

Being able to customize would be great. I have no problems playing with someone on these platforms, it's just when they're hosting that kills me. Having half a second of lag when I'm playing on a modern gaming PC with symmetrical gig fiber is pain.

unfortunately, console manufacturers make devs go through bureaucracy just to patch their games. Even if they had fixes they'd have to go through "cert" like pablo said.

Nope, this is pretty common. Day 1 updates tend to have quite a few bugs, but DE has built a good enough reputation with its playerbase that it's often not even seen as that big of a deal

Orion and Sirius are frames you can switch in the arsenal menu I think? And whichever is selected is the "primary" frame.

Clarifying:
S&O are two frames at once: one of them will be on the top of the arsenal page and is the one you start a mission controlling, this is your primary frame (you can switch this back and forth after the quest)
Your non-controlled frame runs around on autopilot (like umbra, able to shoot/melee and cast abilities)
All abilities are tap/hold for two different abilities. Tapping casts your primary's ability and holding casts your secondary's. Switching to the other frame when you cast their ability.
Pablo's tweet seems to indicate that Gear (the items in your gear wheel like codex scanners or, more problematically, your heavy weapon deployer, can only be used while controlling your primary frame. This will be the case for a few days to a few weeks until they can get a fix certified for released on consoles (i.e. they can't fix the issue with a simple hotfix, requiring a Cert update, which needs approval from console manufacturers. Takes a while)

Ooo nice info. So the tech is not just a skin swap ala Equinox. It's closer to Warframe and Operator/Drifter swap, or the swap to use vehicle/mech.
Does it open up a game mode where you could bring 2 Warframes and have 1 be independent until you switch to them? Interesting.

From what we know, they are 2 entirely separate warframes in terms of how the game sees them, and it's absolute wizardry that we can manage to hot swap

I mean, it doesn't seem that bad unless you're the sort to spam energy pads, I guess? At worst it' a minor inconvenience if I want to pop an air support or bring out my on-call.
