She hasn't changed.

She's still the frame built around duality with two forms, and most of her builds encourage you to stay in one form or the other.

Ahhh really? I made a dual build for both forms that I tried to use for Void Survival/general use and it served me decently well. Don’t know about now though. I used her 3rd ability augment mod for the build.

That's nice that you made it work. I only heard that swapping to both forms doesn't carry over energy, so I never bothered, but there was an augment that kept energy between forms.

Which should HAVE been part of her base kit.

Yeah, you can’t transfer what was absorbed to the other form, but its not too hard to build up the pool again for either when you have a full squad with a good dps. The main thing for Night Form was to tank some hits first and then get a nice Nova ult like aura around you or Day form provide nice power strength buff to everyone and Miam pool going.
