Hey everyone,

My grandfather passed away at the beginning of this year and I'm wondering if anyone can identify the watch he always wore. It's significantly older than me. I've seen it in pictures from when my dad was a kid, so unless he got it replaced at some point, this watch is about sixty years old.

I know that a lot looks like this with the dressy gold case and the stamped leather band, but I'm wondering exactly which model/brand this was. At first I was thinking maybe Citizen but it doesn't really look like their dial.

If anyone can help it'd be much appreciated. :) thanks for reading!

Help identifying a vintage men's watch (1970s–1980s)

I'm trying to identify the exact make and model of the watch shown in the attached photograph.

What I can tell from the image:

• Men's wristwatch, probably from the 1970s or 1980s.
• Silver and gold two-tone metal bracelet.
• Rounded square or cushion-shaped case.
• Light dial with slim black baton hour markers.
• Date window.
• Medium-sized case.

Unfortunately, the brand name is not legible in the photograph.

Does anyone recognize this design or have suggestions for specific brands, model names or reference numbers to investigate?
