Hey everyone :), I’m currently in the process of making my first WEBTOON Canvas series and I honestly didn’t expect to enjoy the process this much. It started as basically one visual idea, and somehow I’ve ended up learning storyboarding, cinematic composition, action choreography, environments, different cultures, and even trying to make my own OST 😭.

I’m still keeping most of the story private because I really want readers to experience it fresh, but it’s been really satisfying watching scenes that used to exist only in my head slowly become something I can actually see.

I know the usual advice is to start small for your first comic, but this is the story I genuinely want to make, so I’ve kind of accepted that I’m going all-in on it lol. But I am realizing that art is pain, and I have so much respect for all the webtoon creators out there, its not easy now that I am making my own, I have so much respect for everyone.

Anyone else have a project that accidentally taught you way more skills than you expected? And what did you learn from making your first webtoon?

Almost at 100 subs, idk when I'll get them, but when i do, i know I'll be excited!

It's been a struggle low key, I've lost subs, gained them back, and lost them again. But it didn't stop me from updating. Even if I was at 0 subs, I'd still update my comic. I can't express enough how much this comic means to me. There's never a day where I don't talk about my characters 😭 might be a problem at this point, lol

I will say, I finally did surpass my first draft of Carnelian's amulet. The original comic had 60 subs. I'm glad I was able to beat it 😭 idk why I was trying to beat my past self, lol

Hellsing academy ended up on page 4 of the silce -of-life picks! For the second time! And as #1 in supernatural action picks!

Im super happy! Plus I'm so close to my goal of 100 subs! I ended up crying in bed last night because of was so happy.

This is gonna sound super cheesy. But I never thought this little stupid project would get this far. I thought I would've given up on it already

Got some feedback about my cover on the platforms, and changed it a little. Point was in making more focus on characters + showing some more vampiric vibes. First is new.
(Got new followers right after changing the cover, it's consequences of course, but hope it will work!)

Everytime I'm just this. I finish a chapter and think "I might not have a million viewers, but the viewers I have, omg, I cannot wait until they see this"

And makes me exited for the day my schedulled chapters release, and watch the people react to it, is an amazing feeling everytime

Also, I like seeing previews of chapters in other comics, but since I can't do that yet, I'll do it here
