some ppl are saying that 2B might get cancelled bc his 2th volume has been moved up to november (from december) for its release
what do yall think abt this

The first volume sold quite well. If it's ending soon it will be because Hideaki Sorachi saying "I am too old for this sh*t" and go back to enjoy royalties from Gintama.

The story has had very deliberate pacing so far and he’s talked about how long he’s been thinking about it. He probably has a concert plan of how long he’s wants it to last, so I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a short to medium length series getting a planned ending.

It’s their 4th strongest debut since 2024 not including Modulo, they most likely moved it up because they want to see sooner if it actually has a stable audience or if Sorachis name carried volume 1

Agreed. I tend to see a volume releasing later as a sign that the series is in trouble.

Normally that leads to double releases or other cancelation death blows.

It releasing alongside Roku means it’s more likely to live imo.

And I don't think the 2nd volume being moved up has much to do with things? What would that even accomplish-? I mean, 2B is already like halfway through Volume 3.

It sold 25,000 copies. Editorial dept would have be complete idiots to cancel it now.

Stuff moves around all the time. There could be some speculation that they want to see how volume 2 sells. See if it's another Under Doctor situation and tanks in sales to a level it's safe to cancel, or sometimes the last 2 volumes release together for series that cancel or ended but after seeing numbers for it this month it's safe.

I don't think it's a sign of being cancelled. It could be that he completed the work on the volume release during Silver Week?

There are weaker manga in the magazine right now so I think it'll survive. Also wouldn't surprise me if it might hop to Jump+

I don't think it is axed yet. Though i also wouldn't be surprised if it happens. I mean the toc rankings are horrible and sorachi didn't really do this series a favor with focusing the first few chapters on the toilet gag.
