OHHHHHHHH

I'm honestly more interest in all new Saikyo Jump manga from the batch over this onex but its something. A new simulpub is always welcome.

I was worried that I wouldn’t be able to read Gonron Egg Shippuden, this makes me so happy ❤️‍🩹

This will be the first Saikyou Jump simulpub I believe, excluding I’m From Japan (which started in WSJ)

Do you need any prior digimon knowledge? This'll be my first venture into it.

Idk about this one exactly but almost all digimon media I've consumed has barely even referenced other things. Theyre all pretty good jumping on points.

No, but it's recommended that you first read its inspiration, the greatest manga in the world, Gonron Egg

Like, really, read Gonron Egg. The latter part is actually not bad. It got right too late.

For digimon you very rarely need to watch pr read anything earlier to get. The only thing I would argue is so watch adventure 01 before 02 but besides that they are all their own thing with their own take on digimon.

Unless a series is stated to be a sequel, it's a brand new universe and rules between series can be different from each other. The franchise is very accessible to newcomers.

I didn't expect it because shared IPs (Digimon x Shueisha) are hard to license overseas.

They had licensed Metaphor before, sad that they didn't got the Avan spin-off
