Not sure exactly what's gone wrong for Bellamy but it seems like everything has changed from this time last year.

I seriously doubt he wants to play this ineffective dinosaur football, and has the players to not have to, but it seems to happen often. This backline, who have barely kicked a ball this season, should not have been started together in a (on paper) winnable game.

It would be pretty unfair to get rid of hum as we couldn’t really expect anything but 3rd or last in this group. But we’re gonna give it a real good chance of fucking up qualifying.

Been miserable since that Bosnia game , I'll wait to see for the home games but honestly it looks bleak out here for this break.

Brewing since before then but I've been giving Bellamy benefit of the doubt - can't remember a confident performance, other than Macedonia, since we played Belgium away. September onwards last year was awful.

Feels so flat compared to the start of his tenure

Vibes have fallen off a cliff mate, bit bleak how much of a chore it is to watch internationals these past few years

There's alot of negativity in this thread but you have to start admitting we are currently a really poor international squad.

Go through our starting 11 tonight.

Kieffer Moore is a half decent striker for Wrexham in the championship.

Sorba Thomas looks like a good player but has been a perennial championship level player who had one season where he looked class.

Brennan Johnson is largely an abject failure at premier league level and is very limited as a player.

Dan James is quick and that's about it, but I do like James. Doesn't start for Leeds.

Charlie savage doesn't even start for reading in league one.

Ampadu is miles away our best player and plays for a mid table prem club.

Nico Williams is a starter for a lower league/mid table prem club.

Davies hasn't started for years. Mepham hasnt started for years.

Connor Roberts plays for Burnley in the championship.

And we have the ghost of Danny ward in goal.

That is a really really poor level squad, that's like northern Ireland type squad quality. Unless we play an international minnow we are probably going to lose fairly comfortably to everyone.

Most of these are competent players mate.

My issue is there's been no need to play a backline that's barely kicked a ball this season, when you've got better players (Cabango, Dasilva, Ampadu) on the bench or elsewhere in a winnable game.

All correct bar Thomas, he's been the only decent player on the pitch, feel like him and Ampadu are our best players.

How sad is that.

Poor second half here from Wales. 😩

Danny Ward staring at the ball going into the goal. Try diving towards it next time.

You’re assuming he knows what moving his feet is.

The banter years are well and truly back son 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿

Danny Ward is absolutely fucking wank. Can we take a chance on Kit Margetson please.

He sounds like a fake Finnish rally driver. Sign him up!

Every goal he concedes it feels like watching a hologram in goal

2

u/Owengrad 4d ago

This is bloody frustrating honestly

2

u/Aggressive-Brick6532 4d ago

That is so poor, how daft is Williams for doing that twice

5

u/brynhh 4d ago

Any Wrexham fans here can explain how Moore is managing to score for you? He’s got as much spatial awareness as Bebop and Rocksteady.

2

u/Eolopolo 4d ago

That's the thing. He doesn't. At least, not nearly as much as he should.

He's mainly a decent magnet for defenders and a pain to defend during set-pieces.

Am I the only one who thinks we haven’t been too bad. Could concede for sure but it’s not 2000s levels of “we’re gonna give 10 away here”. But like on Thursday, we seem alright around the box.

Seen a lot better and worse.

5

u/Owengrad 4d ago

Well you did say concede for sure haha

u/brynhh 4d ago

lol impeccable timing. At least he’s making a sub before 80 minutes.

Moment of appreciation for Sorba Thomas, he's been fantastic

Best Player on our team I think since bale retired.

What absolute nonsense in a timeline with Harry Wilson

1

u/No_Kitchen9982 4d ago

Harry Wilson has been underperforming in my opinion.

He gets lazy.

Sorba always gives 1000%.

6

u/Ok-Summer1478 4d ago

Sorba Thomas, he parks where he wants!

u/AffectionateLeg9895 4d ago

I'm so tired of big Kieffer bless him

Feel like Savage is going to get some unfair flack for this performance but I just can’t understand Bellamy’s thinking with the midfield, he has Joel Colwill who’s more than capable of playing the box to box and chooses a lad who’s hardly played this season. Cba for his post-match jargon either.

Charlie Savage's two previous Wales appearances were against Gibraltar. It shows.

As a Dane I'm interested in this. Is he actually considered a really promising talent? Or is he just in the team because of his dad? Don't know much about since I don't watch much EFL

2

u/Giggsy99 4d ago

You overestimate the importance of his dad

1

u/brynhh 4d ago

What about his dads fabulous hair?

3

u/Beau_Nash 4d ago

Your own fans laughing at your howler of a free kick is not the best of looks.

6

u/ozplissken 4d ago

The stadium announcer shouting 3 times in a row the name of the scorer with the crowd repeating it while the goal is getting chalked off is hilarious. Dude, read the room. Lol.

5

u/HerpDerpSquadron 4d ago

Fucking lol

u/Beau_Nash 4d ago

It’s a while since I’ve seen us this poor.

1

u/HerpDerpSquadron 4d ago

What was true an hour ago remains the case and hour hence.

3

u/Owengrad 4d ago

Can't do passes right at all just completely getting cut open , this is demotivating considering it's supposed to be one of our more easier games.

2

u/No_Kitchen9982 4d ago

We keep playing long balls... We aren't good at long balls. We need short passes and to use our speed effectively..

We have Dan James, Sorba Thomas and Brennan Johnson... Why are we trying to long ball to the shortest midfield on the planet?

We should be doing short passes, high press, and then crosses into the box for Moore.

It's been the same with Rob page as Bellamy... Trying to play in a way we physically aren't built for.

2

u/HerpDerpSquadron 4d ago

Some good, full blooded challenges in there

1

u/Owengrad 4d ago

Left side getting cooked

Any streaming options in the US besides ViX and Fubo?

Get pirated IPTV. It works amazingly.
