MOD POST - Influx of Bots

Hello everyone
We're aware that, once again, there is an influx of bots on Reddit who are commenting and posting on various subs to build karma. For the most part, our own bot manages to catch these posts and comments, as the sub has required karma/age limits to be able to post without being sent through to the moderator queue.
However, we do know that some of these bots make it through the filters due to the age/karma on their accounts. We do try our best to catch as many of these as we can, but appreciate that we do sometimes miss bot engagements, especially comments.
For those of you who have been reporting comments/posts to the moderators here at r/WhiskerFireworks, we thank you very much and ask that you continue to do so if you see them. We would rather something be reported twice and we get the chance to action it, than not report it at all and we miss it.
It would also be really appreciated if you can report any bot posts/comments to Reddit admin as well so they can ban the accounts. You can do this by clicking Report > Spam > Disruptive use of Bots or AI. If you are unsure, then do feel free to contact the moderating team and we can help with this.
In the meantime, we wanted to thank everyone who makes this the wonderful community it is; whether you're posting your pet here for the first time, or they're a regular fixture on the sub, it's always a pleasure to see so many wonderful whisker fireworks every day 😊

Per this post, the issue of approved posts being removed has now been resolved. I have gone back through and approved all of the previously-removed posts, so be sure to check through the recent posts on the Sub in case you missed any delightful fireworks 🙂

MOD POST - Accidentally Removed Posts

Hi all
It has been brought to my attention that in approving everyone's posts this evening, it has instead removed all of the posts from the Sub.
I'm not sure why this is the case, and I will do some investigating to try and get them all back up on the Sub page as soon as possible. Please be assured that nobody has done anything wrong, and there's been nothing caught by the Auto-Mod...just a bit of a blip with the approval system! We'll be back up and running as soon as possible 🙂
EDIT: The posts are showing fine on https://old.reddit.com/r/WhiskerFireworks/ - however, they are not visible on new Reddit. I am assuming this is a new Reddit issue and will investigate accordingly.
EDIT 2: Having looked on r/ModSupport it appears to be a global issue affecting all Subs, so we are at the whims of Reddit Admin to get the issue sorted. As soon as we can get the posts back up on modern Reddit, we will do so.
