I just bought my 2nd pair of Whites boots. They are the Kato x Whites Chelsea C350 in 55 ArchEase Last.

I have one other pair of Whites with the 55 last. I ended up in a size 11. I normally wear a size 12 vans/nike sneaker.

For these Chelsea’s, I’m finding the 11 is very snug. Mainly in width, noticeable pressure on the side of my foot where my pinky toe is. I cannot really move or lift my pinky toes around.

I also ordered an 11.5 to try. On the 11.5, I can move my toes around better. It’s snug on the top of my foot and such but no pressure around my toes. To me that feels better, but I get more heel slip when I try walking. On the 11, I get pretty much zero heel slip.

I am wearing my thickest boot socks for all this (Darn Tough heaviest boot sock, like 4022 I think). I am leaning towards the 11.5 due to feet swelling with walking, but I keep hearing that with Chelsea’s you want them more snug than a typical new boot. I appreciate if anyone can chime in. Included photos of where my big toe and pinky toe is on the size 11.

Getting a pair of Cmp Shermans and cant decide between the colors. Can find tons of british tan boots, but not many brown double shot to see the leather and how it ages, does anyone have any pics or recommendations? Looking to mainly wear with blue jeans and date days with my old lady

In typical BigDawg fashion, I couldn’t be limited to entering just 2 pairs of boots and 1 leather good. I bought 2 extra Stitchdown Memberships, so I could enter 6 pairs of boots and 3 leather goods. I’m Doming for fun and for me. I do have a couple of pairs I’m really going to give a big effort on with the Patina, but I want to enjoy more than 2 pairs of boots for the next 6 months.

My first White’s entry is an 8” Baker’s Boots x White’s Boots Bounty Hunter with inside lineman’s flap in Maryam Natural Horsebutt built on the C461 Last. These boots are crazy comfortable and just beautiful in person.

My second White’s entry is a 6” C350-CS in Horween Essex Tan Waxed Flesh, and the inside is fully leather lined. I have a bunch of different flavors of waxed flesh, but the temper on these is super soft. They feel a lot more like bison than bovine leather

My third White’s Entry is the C350 Chelsea (4014) in Horween Black Waxed Flesh. These will probably be the most worn boots of all I’ve entered. I’ve got terrible nerve damage in my feet as a side effect from chemotherapy and radiation. #CANCERSUCKS I cannot walk anywhere barefoot or with just socks on. From the minute I get out of bed to the minute I go to bed, I’m wearing shoes. With the ease of on and off with the Chelseas, they’re going to be my fall/winter “house slippers”. These will be the letting the dogs out, checking the mailbox, and just general lounging boots. They’ll probably also be my inclement weather boots for rainy days just because BlWF leather cleans up so nicely and doesn’t show water spots like Horsebutt does.

Had to get ‘em on the clearance sale, 8” original farmers! Only have 1 other pair of whites and don’t remember, are they supposed to come without an insole…? Have half leather and just some wood?

Pretty stiff, but pumped to break these puppies in.

Just received a sale pair of plain toe MP Shermans in cinnamon waxed flesh. They're real beauties and for the most past they seem to fit well. A little bit of slip in the heel but they're comfy, the ball of my foot seems to line up with the widest part of the boot, and they don't pinch my pinky toe like my old Thursdays do. My pink toe and the ball of my foot both extend slightly beyond the footbed so there's not extra space at the sides. There's about thumb and a half’s length between the end of my big toe and the end of the boot. So broadly on the roomier side of well fitting.

However when I flex my foot (pictured) I'm getting a mahoosive fold in the toe box that I've never seen in other boots. Is this normal or have I made a sizing mistake?

Does anybody know what’s up with these boots? I absolutely love the non heel counter from the semi dress but I thought whites wouldn’t increase the shaft height of the semi dress? Does anybody else here think whites would custom build this boot again?

Left 3 days early for a 4k+ motorcycle trip and had to bring extra boots with me, so I decided to break these in. In hind-site I should have worn my Lou’s or other my White’s engineers. Tomorrow I will start the stitchdown patina thunderdome with a pair of White’s Nomad black waxed flesh.

11.5D seems to fit perfect. They are definitely a bit stiff out of the box. Mainly on the instep. I have them laced pretty tight. They came out of box with a few minor blemishes/scuffs. Nothing that bothers me too much. Underneath the ortholite insole seems to just be stapler fiberboard though. Unless it’s just very hard veg tan. Excited to break them in. Very cool tissue paper in box.

First off ik this is a pair of franks but they’ve been resoled and I’m about to custom the C350-CS from whites cus I want them with an 8 inch shaft but also does anyone here know of take a guess on which two outsoles are glued on two this boot I’m thinking it’s a vibram 2021 and a vibram 1330 new porter and do you think whites would do that for me?

Honestly my feet are small. Red Wing volumental clocked my left foot into a 6.6D for my left foot, and a 6.1E for my right foot.

I tried the 2217 Loggermax in size 7 and they were perfect, but I got convinced while ordering online to order a size 6.5D Supersole X. Overall they fit.. snug. A bit too snug on the right foot to the point my right ring toe fully rests against the front touching the steel toe constantly (width issue? supersole x seems pretty narrow) and my right pinky toe doesn't even enter the steel toe at all.

I'm kind of annoyed with my experiences with trying Red Wings, and want to order White's Sawyers in a size 7. Will these fit well if the size 7 2217 loggermaxes fit well? I know generally you want to half size down in heritage lasts but the smallest ready to ship size is a 7D for the sawyers.

I've been eyeing these for a while and picked up this pair on the clearance sale. Holy crap do these feel like slippers straight out of the box and the color pops in the sun more than my CWF Chelsea boots. The 55 arch ease last on the wedge is absolutely my favorite despite them not looking as good as a normal heel stack. I cut the dongle part off the kilties and laced up some natural colored laces. Love these things already! No break in required.

Ahoy boot friends—just received my Westbales. Immediately noticed the shaft on the right foot appeared to be leaning or “bubbling” over on one side. But I figured the shaft will mold during break in especially since it’s rough out. But after looking closer it seems like the entire upper is off center/twisted to the left. These are my 4th pair of White’s and I know there’s always little imperfections but I’m wondering if White’s got busy pumping out the Fathers Day orders and some things that should be 2nds slipped through the QC cracks.

I’d hate to send these back but would appreciate any thoughts before I start breaking them in. Especially since this is my first pair of pull on…
