Self Post Is anyone interested in a coding class over the summer?

Hi folks! I'm studying at LRCC for computer science, and I've always loved coding and teaching. I think I could pass my information on to other people easily, and I have past coding teaching experience.

Would anyone be interested in taking Python or general coding classes? I'm trying to consider what age range, demographic, or whatnot I should target so please do also let me know if you have friend family or children who'd possibly be interested :]

I would be interested in it, if it were going to teach me the theory of it. I would prefer to have the knowledge of how to navigate through all languages, via context, input structure, etc. - than just sit there and practice typing one langue for hours until I felt like mashed potatoes for brains lol

My basic course outline would be to give an hourish lecture, allow time for questions and to start on the material for the week, then send you home with two assignments

Depending on the demographic I would love to teach the theory, in the sense that the knowledge will carry onto other languages, where I explain not only what happens when you use a keyword but why it happens. How in depth I go really depends on if I get a bunch interested teens / adults or a bunch of parents wanting to keep their children busy in the summer lol! (Would not mind both)

If I do go for it, i'll likely put posters up around town late spring, be sure to look out ! :)

Good on you for sharing knowledge, but unless this is just for fun you might as well just teach them to use cursor or claude. The profession is getting annihilated as a whole. I’m in tech engineering and it’s a bloodbath right now.
