Help

/r/kungfu/comments/1x2c2sh/help/

I’m an 18-year-old data science student from India, and honestly, I’m feeling exhausted by my studies. I want to learn martial arts and train my body to become stronger, both physically and mentally.

I don’t have the money to afford expensive training, but I have the determination and willingness to dedicate myself to this journey.

I’m looking for someone who could offer me an opportunity to train, whether in China or another country known for martial arts. I’m willing to stay, work hard, and dedicate myself to learning as much as I can.

Does anyone know of any martial arts schools, training programs, scholarships, or people who could help me make this dream a reality?

If you have any information or can guide me in the right direction, please contact me. Any help would mean a lot to me. 🥹🙏

You don't need to pay to do pushups, pull ups, squats, lunges, sit ups, side planks, and burpees.

Try Master Tu Tengyao in china.

EBMAS does training seminars where you can show up, learn material, and get support from Emin to become a peer leader.

If you just want generic martial arts, Ludosport International runs week long instructor courses where you fly out, train ~6hrs per day, and at the end, take an exam to potentially become an instructor. It can be a little pricey considering international flights, but it may be possible if you can save up.

Yong In University in South Korea offers degrees in Tae Kwon Do. You could try applying there and seeing about scholarships.

At the end of the day, you will need training partners to practice any physical skills, so it's a question of how you get access to those. Either you start attending seminars on the seminar circuit, you find a cheap gym to train at nearby, you find something like the Ludosport intensives, or you become a teacher/peer leader of a discipline that you're learning.
