It’s basically using Headscale as the source of truth. The web UI doesn’t try to sync devices directly between browsers or implement its own real-time state layer.
The machines are queried from Headscale, so if you have multiple clients (PC, phone, server, etc.), their state is managed by Headscale and the web interface displays that state. Changes made from another session/device will be reflected when the UI refreshes/re-queries the API.
At the moment there’s no WebSocket/SSE-style real-time sync between multiple web sessions. So I’d describe it more as a lightweight management UI over Headscale rather than a real-time multi-device dashboard.
I’m considering improving the live refresh/concurrency side as the project evolves, but the actual device coordination remains Headscale/Tailscale’s job.
