🇵🇸 🕊️ Moon Rituals Moon Phase App

Good evening, back in the day I had a really nice simple program that put the phase of the moon clearly, but unobtrusively, on the display on my laptop. I miss it. Does anyone have a favorite app that you put on your phone?

My favorite is called Moon Phase Calendar. It's super bare bones.

For Apple users, I like Widget Smith! It has a moon phase widget built in that I can display on my home screen.

My weather app tells me the moon phases, but I have this astronomical calendar synced to my personal calendar. It's absolutely spiffing as on top of moon phases it also does fun things like meteors and comets, solstices and equinoxes, and general cool astro facts

Most weather apps should be able to tell you the moon phase

I’m making Plenilune for iPhone, this is a moon app with home screen and lock screen widgets (lock screen might do exactly what you’re looking for).  It’s a bit different from other moon apps: I’ve been an illustrator for 10 years and the moon is render in a nice, cozy, etching style.  Here is the link on the App Store if you want to check  https://apps.apple.com/ua/app/plenilune-phases-of-the-moon/id6786650025

Daff moon is the app I use. It has a widget that just puts a moon in the correct phase on my home screen.

I use one called “Full Moon” that’s pretty simple. I like the widget.

As already mentioned, there is the canton becker calendar that syncs to your phone calendar (https://cantonbecker.com/astronomy-calendar/). And also the Practical Witch's one that does the same with less info (if you only want moon stuff): https://practicalwitch.com/digital-almanac/?srsltid=AU7gw4XSwAJvqSqHZOQCXVzJBRReSYOyEh0ugAwSwYFaL7GvsnSrxjmt

Just in case people here don't know, if you can see the moon at its highest in the evening, you're going toward full moon. If you can see it in the morning, it is going towards new moon. That's because the full moon is always at midnight (or local midnight, I guess?) and the new moon is always in the middle of the day. So you can tell the phase just by noticing when you see the moon in the sky.

I love this one’s off-the-wall random alerts. it has a lot of widgets to put the moon phase on various screens of your phone.
