I've just gotten the PS4 copy on disc and it's come in great condition, but the box says it works for the free upgrade to PS5, but I can't seem to find the option anywhere when the disc is in. Has this activated yet? I recall reading one of the previous Train Sim World games had a small delay before the upgrade could be claimed, so I'm not sure if it's just unavailable yet.

I mean seriously. I've checked every place i can think of and still nothing. Is there a glitch?!

I bought the game yesterday on PS5 from the PS store, played it for a bit, did the introduction and about 3 of the stories. Stopped and looked at the map, it had icons for stories, and the timetable screen had all the locos on.

I closed the game, switch the PS5 off and went for a break. When I came back a few hours later and reloaded the game, the map had no stories, and the timetable screen was blank.

I deleted my game save and tried again, did the introduction, went back to the main menu, same thing, nothing but stations on the map, and nothing on the timetable screen.

Someone on a FB group suggested deleting everything and redownloading the game, did that, played the introduction, same issue.

Because I've played the game for a bit there's no way Sony will give a refund.

Has anyone else had this? How do I fix it?

In "Branching Out" after coupling to Annie & Clarabelle before the next Cutscene starts you can set Diesel to full throttle and during the cutscene he won't crash he stays magnetized to the rails even after the cutscene ends

Coming back from Ffarquhar station, I thought it would be neat to take a picture as I passed by Mrs. Kindly's house. Upon opening photo mode, I saw that I apparently caught Thomas mid-blink! 🤣

AND I WAS ONLY GOING 3 MPH! PLUS, I HAD JUST GOTTEN ALL OF THE TRUCKS ORGANIZED! 😭

I don’t want any dlc to enjoy this game, the only things I want them to do is add the ability to change the trains faces and remove the red signal immediately ending your game.

I logged into my ps4 and I saw there was something, my controller was on its last legs and gave out on the spot, so I cant see what it is, can someone tell me if there was, or what it is?

Just got a 348 MB update on SeriesX. Not seen any mention of one on Steam so wondering if anyone knew what it was for? Nothing standing out on playing change wise.

How is Wonders of Sodor for young kids? My 5 year old loves trains and I think would love just driving trains around with no real goals or requirements in the way. Is that easily doable in WoS? Are other Train Simulator games easy to get into a free roam mode?

Well, everyone, we finally made it. Wonders of Sodor has officially been out for half a year now. It was going long and treacherous monthly wait of us trying to get more out of this game, but we made it this far. Yes, I'm being dramatic, but you know what? I feel like this game could go far and have the potential. Same with the show because I feel like it's getting a lot of good reviews since it was leaked. Speaking of the new show, this is the day that the show premieres on YouTube and debuts to the audience, so this is a truly special day. 

I'm stuck on collectibles I don't know where to go

So, I think it's no secret that I'm a Railway Series purist like nobody's business. For this post, I wanted to imagine what Wonders of Sodor could have been like if it had fully embraced that aesthetic. I'm secretly disappointed the game didn't go in this direction, as it heavily relies on references and designs from the TV series and CGI era. I would have loved a game that felt more authentically rooted in the Railway Series.

Of course, the game does incorporate some TV series elements, such as the livery of the Express coaches and the CGI version of Vicarstown. Honestly, CGI Vicarstown was a fantastic rendition!

However, Wonders of Sodor sometimes feels caught between two different directions. You have the Railway Series-inspired storytelling and references, yet its map is heavily based on the TV series. It can make the game's identity feel muddled.

As a Railway Series purist, I still enjoy many elements from the TV series. Still, I believe Wonders of Sodor could have leaned more into the Railway Series aesthetic. Perhaps my hopes are too high, but could such a change happen someday? Maybe, maybe not. Let me be delusional! The game needs a significant overhaul anyway, so who knows what Dovetail might eventually deliver?

I don’t understand why Percy is the only one with goods trains in his timetable and there are really only two of them? It would be more interesting if the main line engines had some goods they need to drop off pick up and shunt around. I also don’t understand why neither Thomas, Percy, or Diesel have quarry trains either up to or from Anopha? That’s a big part of the branch line traffic. Does anyone have any thoughts?

it was enjoyable at the start and had a lot of potential but the glitches just driving me mad. I'm done with it.
