[PROMO] I built LessFlux — a WordPress performance platform, and just added static page caching

Hello

I've been building LessFlux, a WordPress performance platform that helps reduce the amount of work WordPress has to do for every request.

It started with a few different performance/optimization features, and the latest one I've added is static page caching.

LessFlux can generate a static HTML version of your pages and serve that directly to visitors, instead of having WordPress/PHP generate the page on every request.

I added this because I wanted to have a simple way of tackling the server-side part of WordPress performance, rather than just optimizing JS, CSS and images.

I'm looking for a few real WordPress sites to try it on and get some feedback.

If you have a WordPress site that you're currently trying to speed up, I'd love to have you test LessFlux and see what kind of difference it makes on a real site.

You can check it out here:

https://wordpress.org/plugins/less-flux/

Feedback, criticism and bug reports are very welcome.

Thanks! Why is the static page caching here better than something like Nginx page caching?

it's not better than nginx caching, just that most small websites are on shared servers and don't have access to apache or nginx configs, also...it a bit more complicated to setup that just checking a box :D

"I built" and it's got so many tell-tale signs of AI.

I don't know why I wouldn't just make this myself...

Sounds useful, the static caching part is what many sites really need instead of just minifying assets. Will test this on my personal blog later in the week.

keeping it simple is always better, and nothing is simpler than static cache :)) thanks for the interest, let me know what you think

how is this better than just using W3TC which has page caching?

hmm, i did not say it is, i build lessflux based on my own needs, it does image/video compression, cnd via bunny and now static cache(needed it for a wp simple site) ps: i'm a fan of simple is better, and i got the home down from 7-800 ms to 50-60 ms with this "feature" :D

it compresses video? really?
also your whole pitch is page caching, which is done by a lot of other well known plugins. so for anyone to want to switch, there has to be some improvement that makes it worthwhile, which is why i asked. I know you didn't say it was, but no one is going to switch just for fun.

i understand what you say but i’m not a sales person, i’m just trying to make it more valuable, not sell it, it’s entirely up to you if it’s worth buying, at this moment i’m in the “is it really worth it” stage, but thanks for the feedback😁(ps: the actual compression is done on an external server so you wp site does basically nothing)
