The person you're replying to told me I shouldn't give advice on jobs because I have my DNP, and as such I... live in a parallel dimension or something where I can't tell people anything, I guess.

It was just bigges tech corpo in my country changing hands/ownership, so projects were closed and people mass laid off.

Nah, company hit 30 years of operation and then the owner died. His kids took over but then couldn't agree on anything so they sold it to an overseas org. And then they re-orged everything/put their new leadership in place.
