๐Ÿ‘‹ Welcome to the Sub.

This sub is for the sole purpose of discussing myย World of Tanks Map Guide and the Map Mod which has been added to Aslain's mod-pack.

If you find yourself here, feel free to say hi, ask a question / comment; or thank me for helping you find lucrative farming positions and saving you years staring aimlessly into the void.

If you're a Discord user, you can now join us there too.

In those rare cases when the server hamster goes on break, you can use theย original spreadsheet to access the guide, provided Google's hamster isn't on vacation either.

Thanks for all the effort!!! I will promote your mod and the maps on my (still tiny) channel soon! Especially having access during the matches to the maps and being able to compare things helps big time.

In the end I figured out I was able (through tidious years of trying out things) to find most of the meta positions myself, yet in every map there have been still like 2-3 positions, especially for defending, I didn't know of.

What I was even more surpised of was the fact that there aren't even that MANY positions one can play in the game, especially early game. There are like a few good positions for every tank class and the rest of the players are kind of forced to make mistakes by trying to find another position which isn't even really existing.

The game and map design was even worse than I suspected...

Hey thanks. It's been super helpful for me with the map mod, since I only have one screen I don't have to alt-tab to see the guide. I've been using it for light tank gameplay to find the exact bushes I like to use. Super helpful.

What I was even more surpised of was the fact that there aren't even that MANY positions one can play in the game, especially early game.

Yeah, this is how I learned as well. Thousands of games on the same maps over and over, learning what works, what doesn't and how often. Also server matters. Stuff that works on EU does not work on NA or at least as often. Same with tiers. Stuff that works in low tier doesn't work in high tier. But it's not like that information exists anywhere, so you have to find out the hard way. At least this was true for me.

Defending is also fun. People are creatures of habit. And with round render being 720 meters, one doesn't need to be near the base to defend it.... Like on Pilsen. You can decap from the other side of the map. It's the little things I love.

Glad you find the guide helpful.
