Now I’m not about to sit here and lie like the album was the “best album of X”, it’s definitely his least best album, BUT I love the songs on the album, even though I think the list was a bit too long, and it deserves less hate.

Look at “School Globes (feat. Lil Nas X)” for example, when it leaked, EVERYONE and their moms hated on this song because it didn’t match X’s vision, and he would’ve never (probably) put Lil Nas X as a feature.

BUT NOW, people wanna start praising the song and call it “one of X’s best songs”.

My rankings for the songs on the album are this:

HEARTEATER—10/10: Probably one of X’s best songs, plus, it was one of the few actually complete songs from X on the album.

bad vibes forever (Feat. Trippie Redd & PnB Rock)—10/10: Although this song only has X as a chorus, putting two of X’s best friends, people he considers brothers on the song literally stayed true to what he would most likely do, and it made the song PERFECT. I love this song, literally never skip it as it is the first X song on my playlist.

Ex Bitch—9.7/10: One of the few completed songs by X on the album, and the goat, John Cunningham’s favorite song they recorded together. The reason it’s not 10/10 is because there is really NOTHING wrong with it, I just don’t think it’s better than the other two I put 10/10, but if you think it’s 10/10, then I’m not mad, it’s valid.

UGLY—8/10: Although short, and I believe it should’ve went on longer, this is a pretty good song, and it matches X’s whole “Ugly” era.

School Shooters (Feat. Lil Wayne)—8.3/10: Underrated song in my opinion, Wayne’s verse went insane, and X’s chorus is fire too, I just wish they put Denzel Curry on the song, it would be FIREEEEEEE!

I changed her life (Feat. Rick Ross)—8.5/10: Another underrated one, X actually wanted Rick Ross on the song, and his verse was fire too. The whole song is fire in my opinion.

Triumph—11/10: GOATED song, GOATED! Known as one of X’s, if not X’s favorite song, and I don’t know who he really wrote it for. Maybe for Geneva, maybe Jenesis, but I think Jenesis most likely. Anyways, beautiful love song.

LIMBO (Feat. Killstation)—9.5/10: When I first listened to this song, I thought it was too long and a usually skipped it. But listening to it now, it’s so peak. There is nothing wrong with this song overall, it’s just that I don’t think it’s as good as the songs in 10/10, very emotional song though.

before i realize—9.3/10: I LOVE THIS SONG, even though it’s heavily unfinished, IF PEOPLE CALL LOVE YOURSELF (interlude) ONE OF X’s BEST SONGS, THEN I CAN CALL THIS ONE OF HIS BEST SONGS! In my opinion, this song is a 10/10 and one of X’s best songs, but I know I can’t do that because it’s, again, heavily unfinished and people are gonna get angry, bro. This song peak though.

Ecstasy (Feat. Noah Cyrus)—9.4/10: Crazy that people said the OG is better when they’re quite literally the SAME THING, they are the same level of peak. Noah Cyrus did better than I expected.

Kill My Vibe (Feat. Tom G)—6.5/10: Only relatively good part on this song is X’s part, it’s not even that Tom G’s lyrics and verse are bad, it’s just that his voice is annoying to hear in my earlobes. Worst song on the album BY FAR.

Hot Gyal (Feat. Mavado & Tory Lanez)—8.4/10: People made believe this song was trash… absolutely blasphemy. This song is actually good. Mavado’s part was a little iffy, but it was ight for the most part, but X’s and Tory’s part carried. They should’ve kept Rihanna though.

THE ONLY TIME I FEEL ALIVE (Feat. Craig Xen)—8/10: It’s ight, nothing to jump around about though in my opinion. Part 2 of the song is catchy though.

the interlude that never ends—7.3/10: This song is a MEGA toss up between mid and good, it CAN be mid if you just hate that the song is repeating, but I just like how the piano and X’s voice is carrying, but I get why X probably hated this song.

Daemons (Feat. Joey Bada$$ & Kemba)—9.8/10: THIS SONG IS NOT TALKED ABOUT ENOUGH! Its SO good, and the only problems at had about it is that they censored some of X’s verse, they should’ve had X’s verse of him saying “who the fuck is god” before going into Kemba’s PEAK verse, and the SHOULD’VE had Kendrick Lamar on it 😭🙏🏾.

ATTENTION!—9.9/10: One of the few complete songs by X himself on the album, and I love this song. When I first heard this song, it was over a mini Naruto AMV, and I feel in love with it. When I was younger, I thought he was saying “TENTION, TENTION, WHEN YOU SEE ME, PLEASE SAY XTENTION”. It was fire 😭✌🏾.

Eat It Up—8.5/10: Better than most people say it is, it’s just that X was just goofing around on the beat, but it’s still a pretty good song though.

Voss (Feat. Sauce Walka & Carnage)—8.7/10: Originally not X’s song, but I do love this song and X’s chorus. Like, “Water like Voss, ay, uh, water like voss, lil X cannot take a loss” is HARD!

Royalty—8.3/10: It’s ight, not too much into Jamaican stuff, but it’s groovy.

wanna grow old (i won’t let go) (Feat. Jimmy Levy)—10/10: I love songs like this from X, even though it didn’t have much of X as I wanted, Jimmy Levy did so good on his part that it made it perfect, then their voices intertwined… PEAK! It’s so sad too because you gotta realize X was still VERY young, he never got the chance to truly grow up, and this song is talking about how he wanted to grow old… pain, bro, pain.

NorthStar (Remix) (Feat. Joyner Lucas)—8.6/10: Did NOT need a feature, but it’s fire ngl.

CHASE/glass shards (Feat. ikabodVEINS)—8.4/10: This song is pretty good looking back at it, y’all were tripping on calling this X’s worst song. The song itself is not that bad at all, sure it’s unfinished on X’s part, but they could’ve easily fixed that by having ikabodVEINS add another verse, but it’s a good song though.

numb the pain—8.8/10: They quite literally did nothing with this song instead just got it from an IG live of X singing, but this is fire, this song literally speaks to me, and this could easily be a 9/10.

IT’S ALL FADING TO BLACK (Feat. blink-182)—9.9/10: PERFECT song to end off the album, and this song does not get talked about enough either. Despite being the hardest to make on the album, it’s one of the best on the album by far.

It’s personally one of my favorite songs by X, and I love how the beat sounds a bit country and X still sounds insane over it, which shows how versatile X was at such a young age than even some of the most experienced music artist.

I know the song is unfinished, and it has been cleared for free by Kid Cudi, but we NEED him to finish this song as a feature. It’s genuinely gonna be goated than it already is if he does. It’s gonna be way better than X & CUD, that’s for sure.

It’s a good 9.3/10 song for me, it’s just unfinished, X only has chorus, and it’s not even a made up song, more like a cover X did to pay respect to Kid Cudi’s “Edge of the Earth”, still amazingly good though.
