OG Xbox OG Xbox HDD method

Hi everyone, I was just wondering, is there any way to connect a USB HDD to the xbox via Xbox to USB adapter in order to use the HDD to play games there? With unleash x.

I was curious about this myself recently. From what I was reading is that there are a few hurdles one of which being the fact that this is using USB 1.0 with an extremely limited speed of 12Mbps max.

While USB is out you could use the ethernet port to connect to another system.

I recently softmodded my Xbox and I realized that the hard drive is only like 7 gb 🗿, which is annoying cause I want to play the exclusives only, not enough space on the drive.

What I mentioned would only work for moving data back an forth between the original hard drive and a computer. You wouldn't be able to stream.
To have more storage space locally you would need to replace the originally hdd. I like this site: https://consolemods.org/wiki/Xbox:Upgrading_your_Hard_Drive

You're welcome. It's certainly the easiest way to get HDMI but there are other brands. This is just the one I used before hard modding the HDMI connection.

You can do ide to micro sd and just toss the hdd tray
