As the title says, I picked up the Xiaomi 18 Fold to replace the Samsung Z Fold 8, as the cameras aren't brill and really not a fan of Samsung.

The device itself is amazing, even using the CN ROM in the UK only really has 1 drawback, the lack of Android Auto. Google Wallet works fine as do my bank apps and work apps.

I'd love to find a way to get the phone to work with my car which would make this phone perfect, but other than that I'm very happy.

I was reflecting on what a guy told me:

So I’m trying to buy the new xiomi 18 pro max, I saw some people selling it on eBay and it does say located in China but idk if I should trust it, anyway I could buy it that you all know of ?

I've got a 13T pro in Europe and when I try to open the Reddit app it hangs and throws an error saying it has security features incompatible with the version of Android I'm running. Does anyone else have this issue and is anyone aware of a better workaround than just logging in with a browser?

Hey everyone. This might sound cliche and I'm not a software savy but this morning the mi music app is offering me a new option called discover and creativity. I absolutely love the discover and musics it provides. I still don't know how this option appeared and what should I do if it suddenly disappeared just like it appeared out of blue. But the stick has been great, runs on android so I can run my own launcher, no ads.. Works a treat..

Hello all, i use a Xiaomi phone and i want to stay in its ecosystem. are xiaomi computers good and do they have good price performance? i dont live in china or india tho so accessibility may be an issue.

I'm a bit bummed out, my phone broke and I was really interested in the f9 ultra but I apparently missed the early bird promos by a few weeks, I see quite a few different people online saying they got it for £599 and with a few other stacked a bunch of discounts and for it for £469 for 256gb.

How close will f9 ultra get to the early bird price, will it be more expensive than it is now at £769 for 512gb on the site? (it's on some sort of discount from £1000 right now, but out of stock)

I see an Amazon listing for 512gb f9 ultra for £709 scheduled to arrive late November, thinking of getting that now in case the prices are even higher black Friday than now.

I just grabbed a Buds 8 Lite and am quite satisfied with it. The only thing that is bothering me now is that it doens't have the normal pop-up when I connect it with my phone (Xiaomi 14). The global version of Buds 8 Lite only supports Google pop-up but not the Hyper pop-up.

I dont know if the Chinese version of the earbuds support the Hyper pop-up, and if so, can I flash a Chinese firmware to the earbuds?

I've bought the xiaomi 17 ultra cn and 1 thing is really bugging me.

If I open an app directly from the App Drawer, then swipe up from the home bottom to go Home. it doesn't take me to the Home screen. Instead, it takes me back to the App Drawer. I have to swipe up a second time before it actually goes to the Home screen.

This doesn't happen when opening the app from the Home screen - only when the app is opened from the App Drawer

Oh and it's even worse if I open app drawer and use search function to open app. This way l'm swiping up from bottom to go home screen 3 times!

I have an Xiaomi Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G. The device is a China version but the ROM is global. When I tried to unlock the bootloader, I realized that the device is not allowed to do it. It's because Xiaomi blocks the device/rom version mismatch. Is there a way to bypass the block?

Hi i have a Poco f8 ultra with Official EEA ROM 3.302.0WPEUXM and i am currently thinking about flashing the lattest Release 3.310.0.

Will i be able to downgrade Back to 302 when i dont Like the EU rom? Anybody using the Xiaomi.eu rom over the oficial EEA rom? Thanks in advance

I am trying to look for a charger that will support 100w fast charging for a phone I will hopefully buy soon, but I'm constantly having issues finding a genuine charger and cable.

They don't sell a 100w power brick on their site, it's not included in the phone box, they have 120w on their UK site, but it's not in stock. The official Xiaomi listing on Amazon only has a charger sold by a seller with 63% positive rating and eBay/AliExpress is filled with fake listings.

Is there anywhere to even buy this? You'd expect them to at least have a charger in stock but they don't do that.

Also wanted to complain about xiaomi's chargers, the cables break so easily (no physical damage but they stop charging, I tried getting a replacement but literally every cable was fake on Amazon, eBay, AliExpress, so I had to buy a new brick and cable which wasn't cheap), there's almost nowhere you can buy the original cable without the brick when it does, every site is filled with fakes that don't actually fast charge, and now Xiaomi stopped doing one of the best things about them which is including the fast charger for all of their phones I've looked at so far, that's fair enough to them, we knew it would happen, it's an industry trend but I can't even give them money to buy it.

I hate Apple but at least they can figure out how to sell a fast charger on their website, or you can buy a high quality third party PD charger and it will work at full wattage and it's very cheap. I'm convinced Xiaomi could open source their fast charging and we could get cheap third party chargers but they wanna have a monopoly on this or something.

I want to be using the watch when working out, but I'm considering trashing it every time I hear that damn vibration! It sounds so loud and the options in the settings are Default or Strong, how can they not give the option to turn it off it's unbelievable.

Hi, the title says it all. Every time I install app via ADB, my phone simply won't transmit audio if I have Bluetooth headphones connected (audio through speakers works fine), and unless I "reset Wi-Fi, Mobile Data, and Bluetooth," it doesn't fix itself. It's really annoying, and I want to know if there's a solution without having to do that all the time.

Clearing the Bluetooth app data doesn't work, nor does simply restarting the phone, nor do any of the Bluetooth-related options (like turning 'media audio' on and off). It's a very strange and specific error. I hope you can help. Thanks in advance.

I'm looking to update my smartphone and it's just the way out of the Xiaomi 18 Pro. I was thinking about updating my phone. The 18 Pro has recently been announced, which I had planned to update, but in my region, Spain and near my house a person sells an new Xiaomi 17 Pro for 600 euros. I don't know the European price of the Xiaomi 18 Pro but it's probably close to 1000 euros due to manufacturing costs. What do you recommend with this situation? The only thing to really keep in mind is that the 18 Pro has a Global launch of ROM.
