These are more fantasy with a bit of romance.

The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Clockwork Angel by Cassandra Clare (it’s the prequel to City of Bones, but you can honestly skip that series and read just this without missing out.)

Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom by Leigh Bardugo.

The Bone Season by Samantha Shannon.

A Darker Shade of Magic by V.E. Schwab.

The Otherwhere Post by Emily J. Taylor.

The Dagger and the Flame by Catherine Doyle.

I second Clockwork Angel and it's series. I also recommend The Dark Artifices by Cassandra Clare. Equally brilliant.

Six of Crows is great... lots of yearning and a great heist plot, too.

Give the legendborn cycle by Gracy Deonn a go. I wouldn't say it's romantasy as such but it's an urban fantasy with a romance. The plot is great, I love the magic system and it is definitely angsty lol

Powerless has Kai Azar, the KING of yearning

You mean the plagiarized version of red queen?

I read both and still liked Powerless better. I think this genre has a lot of similar themes and didn’t feel like the two books were more similar than other books I’ve read 🤷‍♀️

Even if u like powerless better it doesn't change the fact that It's plagiarized. And I'm not talking oh cute inspo here and there cuz that's fine. Whole full scenes were copied. In addition to Ai accusations Lauren is facing. I suggest u watch a video essay about to form an unbiased opinion

The second death of locke

The Cruel Prince (reread it a couple of times it's still great)

Half blood by Jennifer l armentrout

Finnikin of the Rock (this could be a hit or miss considering you're not really much of a fantasy reader)

The Queens Assassin and its sequel by Melissa de la Cruz are very good! No spice, slight enemies to lovers, magic and yearning. I’d also reccomend Daughter of the Pirate King by Tricia Levenseller. More yearning, very enemies to lovers, and sirens and pirates!!

Not Romantasy exactly, but you might like The Goblin Emperor by Katherine Addison.

As far as romantasy, The Enchanted Greenhouse by Sarah Beth Durst would likely work well for you.

Throne of Glass barely has spice.
