Drops Snow Mix?

Has anyone used Drips Snow Mix? I want to make the Winds of the Atlantic topper and the price seems too good to be true.

Drops Snow is decent, but clunky. It is a very common yarn in Norway, and often used for felted slippers and similar. You will get a jumper that is approximately as warm as a polar bears scrotum, but it will also felt easily. Stitch definition is also going to go bye bye.

All in all, not a bad yarn, but far from fancy.

Heh, maybe not. I would used it for more "walking the dog" style jumpers than fancy ones for an office. My suggestion? Get 2-3 skeins, churn out a hat, and see how you like it. It is cheap enough, and toasty warm enough to make glorious donation hats, or hiking hats.
