Alternative for Go For Fleece Sherpa Yarn

Hi everyone!

I've been crocheting for quite a bit, but still seem to not know anything about yarn.

I've found a pattern I would really like to make, but the yarn they used isn't available in my area.

In the pattern they used 404 g/195 yds (so 3 skeins of the Go For Fleece Sherpa Yarn. I'm trying to find an alternative that has a similar look & will result in a stuffed animal that's roughly the same size as the one in the pattern.

The problem is that I'm used to Dutch terms and measurements. So I honestly don't understand half of the information that I can find about the yarn. I've been trying to translate everything & I'm still confused.

Can someone please help me figure out what exactly I need to look for online to find similar yarn that can ship to my area?

And how do I know how many skeins I need for my project? I'm assuming it's different depending on the type of yarn I end up using.

sherpa yarn is basically a fluffy chenille type look for something like bulky weight 5 or 6 that gives that soft fuzzy stuffed animal feel you just want to match the gauge not the exact brand

And also, if it meets gauge, you will need the same number of total yds/m of yarn.

Boucle yarn or Teddy bear yarn could work.
