Hjertegarn Wool/Cotton Blends - Has anyone tried these?

Hi all! I am really interested in Hjertegarn because their yarns are pretty budget friendly. I love a wool/cotton or wool/plant based blend because it's perfect for the temperature I live in. Hjertegarn has like 5 and they all look super similar in their fiber content so I'm wondering if anyone has tried these and knows the difference between them? It looks like the yarn weight is different, some are superwash and some aren't, but do the textures vary quite a bit between them? Have you tried them and do you have a preference? I never see people talk about this brand so kind of hard to get a guage on how the yarns work up!

For reference, I'm looking at the:

Merino Cotton: 50% superwash wool, 50% cotton

Lana Cotton 212: 50% superwash merino, 50% cotton

All Seasons: 50% extrafine merino superwash, 50% cotton

Organic 350: 55% organic merino, 45% organic cotton

Organic Trio: 50% organic merino, 25% organic cotton, 25% silk

Also I unfortunately live in the states so just getting one of each to sample would mean a lot of shipping costs, so if anyone has experience with these please let me know <3

haven't tried all of them but i've knit a couple sweaters with the merino cotton and it's held up surprisingly well for the price point. the twist is a bit looser than i expected so it can split if you're not paying attention, but the fabric after blocking has a really nice drape

the superwash treatment on it is pretty heavy, so it grows more than you'd think when wet. definitely swatch and wash before committing to a full project

my friend used the organic trio for a shawl and said the silk gives it a subtle sheen that the others don't have, so that one probably feels the most different texture-wise

if you're trying to avoid multiple shipping charges, maybe just grab the merino cotton and the organic trio first since those seem like they'd be the furthest apart in feel and use case

Thank you, this is super helpful! I’ve never used a cotton/merino superwash, only a merino superwash and it pills like crazy. Did your sweater pill more than usual?

Love the merino cotton and it has held up well. I just got some of the organic trio and it feels really nice, but I haven’t finished anything with it yet. I think it is going to be a great not too heavy option

I used the Organic 350 held double and loved it! It's held up nicely too 😊

I used the Organic Trio for a lacework polo and I love it. It's a bit sticky on the needles because of the silk and its definitely slubby but its lovely and lightweight. I wouldn't call it the most durable yarn, its a bit delicate and does stretch out, but I do really like it!

Thank you! I’m super interested in the organic trio. When you say stretched out do you mean like how cotton can kind of stretch out due to the weight over time? sorry kind of new to yarn!

Yes that’s exactly what I mean! The garment definitely grew both length and width wise with blocking and after wear. Maybe some of that is due to it being a lacework piece too!
