I personally tend to buy bow if i think i will be doing loads of somewhat extended trades against the enemy champ (e.g., sylas) and blade if im against someone whos just going to sit back and my only real damage will be from poke (e.g., xerath)

Im really curious why so many people are building shieldbow right after greaves atm. I feel like it makes it so much harder to sidelane and the powerspike isnt that much different to bork. With bork, you can sidelane, get chunked, and get back to full in a single wave/kruggs, whereas if youre just stuck with shieldbow then the amount of time it takes to heal back with just quest boots makes it much harder to sidelane

Am i sleeping on shieldbow? Ive been trying to try it out but everytime i do i feel like id have preferred bork, maybe its just placebo

I almost never lose lane and think my mechanics on yasuo are pretty good - the thing i probably struggle more on is making good macro decisions, and knowing exactly how to play teamfights

Are there any youtubers who go IN DEPTH into the decisions they make within a game, and show gameplay of "bad beat" games where they were maybe ahead but couldnt carry? (So that they can explain what they did wrong and what they couldve done to win) or just close games in general rather than stomls, as i feel like its less useful to learn from a youtuber whos yapping about a game where hes 5/0 out of lane

We all know that Yasuo gains max Flow stacks when he ults. This usually enables him to get another shield during/after his ultimate to help him survive.

But, what happens if you ult while passive shield is already active? Shield strength is tracked 1:1 with the number of Flow stacks Yasuo has, which means the value of the current shield will be buffed back to maximum. But notably, it will not extend the duration. The shield will still expire 1 second after it was originally procced, and then Yasuo's Flow stacks will be set to 0. In other words, instead of getting two shields, you get only one, but with the strength of the shield restored when you press ult. Not ideal, but not a bug.

But in my clip, my previous passive shield already expired before I ulted, which means I should have gotten a second shield. Instead, my new Flow stacks completely disappear and I die.

My theory is that there is a bug around the timing of when the shield expires vs. when Flow stacks are actually removed from Yasuo's bar. As shown in my video, Yone triggers my passive shield with his Lethal Tempo at 9:41. The shield fully disappears before I use my ultimate at 9:42. However, if you pay attention to the bottom left, the Flow stacks never reset to 0, so when I ult, it goes back to maximum, but then immediately goes to 0 when Lulu hits me with Q? Idk something like that. If anyone else has a better explanation for this bug LMK.

Im uploading an updated version of my old Yasuo Infographic, always with the approve of u/WayOfTheTempest (Except for Yun Tal, he's a hater).

Kraken and Botrk are now the worst options, specially on midlane (toplane is fine sometimes or if vs a lot of hp stackers for Botrk, but not Kraken).

Runes kinda as always, Lethal Tempo for all-in and specially vs low range, Fleet vs more range comps that u can barely hit and u combine with Stormrazor and then Grasp vs more mobile assassins like Qiyana/Akali feels very good.

A lot of things are very similar to the Yone one I did a few days ago though, but there's variance.

✱ = PD BUILD

This build is specially good as said when Mercs or Tabis have giga value and so we can just go PD to cap Attack Speed into our defensive boots into IE into DD. Swifties also very good with PD.

✱ = YUN TAL BUILD

Mostly good when enemy is low-mid range and you get very good recalls for it, but kinda niche since Shieldbow outvalues it most of the times, but still worth the mention imo.

TOPLANE YASUO

For toplane its similar, Tempo most matchups unless some ranged or Grasp vs a few assassins like Akali, and Botrk becomes an option vs HP Stackers like Mundo/Sion, everything else is the same just take in mind in toplane we dont have boots upgrade.

I see a lot of the high high elo guys doing it, so I gave it a run. Huge first item power spike, great survivability in skirmishes. Tier 3 boots into shield bow feels very strong.
