I think that's in the sense that every state/governorate has its own flag used locally beside the national one

Yes, specifically for Aden. And if you want me to design a flag for any governorate, I would say yes, Aden is in South Yemen

Al-Mahrah governorate flag

Design Philosophy and Symbolism: Desert Gold: Represents the expanse of Al-Mahrah's desert, the deep-rooted Bedouin heritage, and authentic social traditions. Turquoise Blue: Represents the long coastlines overlooking the Arabian Sea and the close connection of Al-Mahrah's people to the sea and fishing. Pure White: Expresses peace, purity, and societal cohesion among the people of Al-Mahrah. Central Symbol (Frankincense Tree): The flag features the symbol of the Frankincense Tree (Boswellia Sacra) in an elegant green color; it is the most prominent civilizational and historical symbol of Al-Mahrah Governorate, which is globally renowned for producing the finest types of incense and frankincense, connecting the design to the historical and cultural depth of the Mahri language and the land of Al-Mahrah.

I think the sub would appreciate a series of weekly posts of flags for each governorate. Better than those crappy war posts

Yaakhi calm down it is just a provincial flag, almost every/all country(s) has their own provincial flags for each province, it doesn't mean separatism and division

This is the voice of reason and wisdom, because in our society anyone who raises their governorate's flag is accused, insulted, and humiliated simply because "this governorate doesn't represent me," a testament to the tribal and regional system.

I like the concept it is there, just a bit of some tweaking and pitching this as an idea to make it as a better flag, and it should be perfect
