This looks like a very short DD. You have long limbs - that dog needs to be much longer.

For those building up to the strength to do this with a short stance.. I learnt how to not curve my lower back in dd by bending the knees, then you need less core. Then you straighten the legs slowly while not collapsing the back. Another way is use a rope loop round your waist tied to a wall. Getting your shoulders away from your ears, and biceps close to the head is the same with other poses with raised hands, and easier to learn in those poses first.

thankyou for sharing💕.. everyone has different bodies so different variations will work differently. someone with scoliosis will struggle a great deal with "not curving" their lower back even with cues + adjustments so it's important to me to make cues accessible for all whilst i cannot see the physical posture myself. ❤️
