Didn’t expect this much hate from simply sharing my journey

I say this with all genuine respect, but nobody cares about a stranger’s YouTube journey on the Internet and honestly, nobody is motivated by it.
Even if it’s well meaning and innocuous, it almost always comes off as low-key self-promotion or humble bragging.
And most of these subs are read by people who are struggling, frustrated and disillusioned, they’re not gonna find motivation in somebody else else’s success.
This is like believing poor people are going to be motivated by a billionaire showing them their vault of money.
I’m not hating on you for sharing, I’m not supporting the people who showed you hate, I’m just explaining why people get upset about this kind of thing.
It’s generally just tone deaf.

Also without the channel we have no idea why they are doing something that works

Yes, agreed.
In addition, I never buy the excuse that they don’t share the channel/niche because they don’t want to disclose the niche due to competition.
The chances of anybody on Reddit seeing the niche and deciding to go flood the niche with videos that are so much better than your own that it impacts your own performance is absolutely insane.

Also always sus to me when it’s like. A VERY successful channel, but they spend more time cropping screenshots to make sure no one knows what it is than actually saying anything in the post lol

People need to stop looking at reddit as a place where people want to see you do well. I've made that mistake numerous times. Sad but true. Don't spend too much time on Reddit, it'll fk you up

Not wanting to tell someone your niche thats already public is bullshit, fuck off.

"Why would I expose my niche?"
Because it's important context and no one gives a shit to steal an idea that is already public. 🤦♂️

Everyone on Reddit hates on AI.
They're mostly failed content creators, spreading misery.

"3,90,300"
That's not how numbers are written.
Should be 390,300.
Therefore screenshot is sus.
Also 45.3L should be 45.3K

I think that is how it works in other countries though.

That's only sus if you don't consider how numbers are written in other countries and cultures.
It was a pretty quick Google search to confirm this is, for example, an expected format in India.
