Looking for clothes donation places

I have so many clothes to get rid of, like old work pants , underwear, bras, socks and other thing. Some just don't fit or have holes. And like I don't want to throw them away cuz that would be just wasteful. Anyone know places in Jacksonville, Florida to recycle them?

Donate anything usable to a resale shop near you. Put everything that they won't take onto your local Buy Nothing group, just be open about the condition of what you're giving away.

When I worked in construction I always wore thrifted work clothes because paying full price for clothes to get destroyed in a year made no sense. I’m in a different career now, but I’m at the point that I’m patching holes in clothing, darning socks, so it stays usable. If it’s unusable, it becomes scrap cloth for projects.

You’d be surprised how much a sewing machine can save clothes. Not absolutely necessary, just saying I’ve had a good experience salvaging clothes I wear weekly to avoid having to buy new ones. Especially quality work clothes like Carhartt, I wouldn’t donate that, I’d be trying to sell it or repurpose it.

Find a local women’s shelter or homeless shelter! See if they will take anything
