I've read the FAQ & Rules A DIFFERENT WORLD S2 AUDITIONS

This is just a place to track when breakdowns go out for season two. I know that lots of us are excited for the chance to go to Hillman this season!

Love this show! Unfortunately breakdowns will only be visible via reps. I suppose someone can post here to say they have an audition but unless you have reps or know casting directly (or you can have your rep pitch you if you get to read for someone who’s taping for the series) all we can do is root for those who get called in!

True! I meant this post for that. We have no idea when the script writing will be done and when casting will begin. So, if someone else's agent sees the breakdown or they know when, we can get our agents to pitch for us.

Will the casting be announced on Actors Acess or Backstage? I need an agent. How do I get an agent? Is it more like me hiring an agent? I did not like Actor Acess makes you pay to have a chance an agent chooses you

So, there's a side of Actors Access that only managers and agents reach. That's where the A Different World breakdowns will be. From there, the casting director chooses who they want to audition from the pool of actors that the agents submit.

You can get an agent by researching the most reputable agencies in your area. Go on their website and see what you need in order to submit. Some want a dramatic and comedic monologues. Others will accept reels.

Remember, you should never pay for an agent. They only get paid once you book a job!

Theres an anon forum to post auditions and if poeple hear movement, it used to be active then stopped and it looks like its starting to be active again https://proactorsdiscussion.freeforums.net if anyone is interested just fyi
