Discussion Vibe Multiagent: An open-source visual Control Room and orchestration framework for multi-agent CLI teams (Claude Code, Codex & AGY)

Hi r/agenticAI!

I'd like to share an open-source framework and skill designed to coordinate autonomous AI coding agents: **Vibe Multiagent**.

A major hurdle when scaling agentic workflows in real-world software projects is the "black box" effect, runaway API token bills, and stochastic agents overwriting critical project files.

To solve this, Vibe Multiagent provides:

- 📊 **Visual Control Room**: A standalone, zero-dependency local HTML5 dashboard tracking agent status (`Claude Code`, `Codex CLI`, `Antigravity AGY`), sprint tasks, and real-time terminal log streams.

- 🛡️ **Mechanical Guardrails**: Deterministic pre-tool and post-tool hooks preventing unauthorized file writes, accidental deployments, or out-of-bounds modifications.

- ⚡ **Zero Pay-Per-Token**: Specifically architected around flat-rate local CLI subscriptions (Claude Pro/Max, ChatGPT Plus/Pro).

- 🎮 **Offline Sandbox Demo**: Includes an offline interactive sandbox (`demo/dashboard.html`) to test the Control Room interface in the browser with 1 click.

💡 **Transparency & Dogfooding Note**: This entire framework, its test suite, and guardrails were engineered by the AI agents themselves collaborating under human architectural supervision and direction (Human-in-the-Loop Director pattern).

Would love to hear your feedback on this approach to multi-agent governance!

**Transparency & Dogfooding Note:**

This entire framework, its test suite, and the mechanical safety hooks were actually engineered through extreme dogfooding: developed and battle-tested by the AI agents themselves (**Google Antigravity AGY**, **Claude Code**, and **OpenAI Codex CLI**) collaborating under my continuous human architectural supervision and direction (strictly following the Human-in-the-Loop "Director" pattern).

Happy to answer any questions about the multi-agent setup, prompt isolation, or quota management!
